Homebrew Using Homebrew Apps, I was able to restore my long lost PKMN Y Save Data that I lost 3 years ago...

In my case, I lost probably thousands of hours in ACWW back then, when my game card corrupted the save. (I still don't know the reason lol)

Naaah. I played it like every day (so it was constantly in my nintendo).
Started up the game and it said the save file is corrupted.
No water, heat, w/e damage...

Hmm, try the .sav backup again, and see what JKSM says...
If it doesn't work again, and your Old 3DS had Mario Kart 7, try its .sav...

Old .sav file(what i want)just gives me reset
The new(that i dont want) working well

(There are 2 possible possiblities to this:
A. MK7's Anti-SaveGame Restore Patches are significantly different
B. You'd need Kernel access... All's not lost, when the opportunity for CFW comes up, take it. That might the way to fix it.

Nah i wait for it when rpghax will have the possibility to run fbi and restore my mk7 .sav

Or, you can get another exploit (Like Steelhax) & be able to run FBI now...

Make sure in the Data Management that there isn't ANY files related to Subwars (Saves, Updates, DLCs, etc.)

i just select a mii then install steelhax
no updates
no dlcs
fresh installed

That's still Save Data. You have to install Steelhax before even launching the app for the first time...

steelhax requires you to have a savedata file for the game which is created after you select the main mii and get to the select game options.

You need subwars on v1.0. You want to create a savefile in the game first. Once you chosen the mii and it shows it saved. You will then run your homebrew entrypoint and select the installer.

No, when you launch subwars once its ready. it should show the 3ds boot screen, then go black for a few seconds, then the flashy colors should show as it loads to hb screen.
