did you test the dvd function? cause if that works i will remove mplayer dvd from team twiizers, leaves more rome for other stuff on my sd ;-) i don't want 2 or more players cause they all support different stuff...

HERE YOU GO GET THE DOWNLOAD OF DVD MPLAYERWII, IT SUPPORTS DIVX FROM DVD,SD,USB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

JUST TRIED DVD WITH 5 DIVX FILMS AT RANDOM, PLAYED PERFECTLY!!

BE WARNED IT CAN BE UNREDICTABLE AND CRASH IF YOU TRY FORWARDING ETC....

good breakthrough though, i personally wouldnt use it as i have a special data player/recorder pc style, one of the best avaialable

So if i were you id scrap team twiizers dvd player, although it had better menu, its sh*t at playing dvds, plus doesnt support avis from dvd like this new mplayer wii unofficial

i dont know! never usually get mkv files anyway unless you want HD files, that right?
May do unsure, you try, iv'e tested 5 divx at random

But yeah its amazing news, for people that want divx dvd playback

as they cannot afford data players or modddy chippies. hehe

But ill certainly be removing mplayerdvd by twiizers, take allot of space especially having it as a channel, and tis quite crap really. still i prefer Geexbox

Hey well if it supports MKV through sd, usb, it should through DVD i believe, cannot be sure though, big files hd mkv like, i just like to stick with dvdrips

Hey guess what when you insert the divx data dvd, it runs SMOOTHLY unlike mplayerdvd, it sounds like a real game, and then its complete quiet

Yes, just do everything like you were using dvdlib edition!!!!!
including dvdx, libdi, patchmi ok

Unsure if you need all them but i have them all installed anyway, all as patchmii....
unsure for unmodded wiis

But you may only need dvdx like he said!!

no, not working with mkv. tries to start then shows somewhat the first frame and then hangs

yeah, geexbox can handle big external hd drives, mplayer wii cannot find paths, even with small 20-40 gig pvr players, etc.. geexbox is by far the best, shame that doesnt have data dvd playback.
