All over the internet there seems to be discussions explaining in detail the many logical reasons why the WiiU sucks. The WiiU is the only current gen console I own and despite its flaws I still like it.

It has good games on it. Yes, the PS4 and XBONE have more good games on them, but I don't own either of them (yet). The purpose of gaming is to have fun so why get frustrated over all thats wrong with the console when you can sit back and enjoy yourself?

Gaming is something that should supplement, not replace your life so you shouldn't have time to game very much and therefore you shouldn't need very many games.

Find a game you like and aim for 100% completion. Don't just finish the main quest and move on to the next one; actually complete the hardest difficulty (not a good idea in some stupidly hard games), find all the secrets and get all the achievements (or whatever the game might call them). In doing so you might even feel more complete as a human being. You can make a good game last you a long time.

So bottom line is the WiiU sucks, but it still has enough going for it that I call it worth owning. Alternatively you can just get a PS3 or XBOX360 and enjoy a fuckload of good and cheap games. Nobody has to agree with me, I'm just sharing my opinion.

As always, it's about your preferences.

I think Hyrule Warriors sucks so bad, it should be better between your legs and not inside a console. Another friend plays it for 200 hours and is still not bored of it. For him a WiiU was worth buying just for this game, for me it's a console that I bought at launch and own until today 4 games.

4 games in how many years? And 2 of them are ports or remastered versions of existing games - so I got 2 games left. Yes! Totally worth it! .. not.

It was fun anyway. Playing Smash until today from time to time. : )

Stating that something objectively "sucks" is completely illogical. If you like it and enjoy the games then it doesn't "suck" for you. If somebody else doesn't enjoy it or its games then it "sucks" for them. There's really no point arguing about which is "best" or which "sucks" the most, and attempting to justify any opinion is really a waste of time. Just play what you enjoy and ignore what everybody else thinks.

The Wii U isn't a very good gaming console as only a very little amount of games are actually good while the rest is a pile of shit. But putting that aside, if you hack the Wii Mode the Wii U becomes a far better gaming system than it was originally intended for.

Last week or so I finished Yoshi's Woolly World to 99% and now I don't have anything to play on it because the good games I had already completed them. I also have Tropical Freeze but this bored me the fuck outta my mind.

Well rethinking my views, now I think that for me the console does not suck. I still think the WiiU is the most flawed console of the generation and it does suck for many people, but I am satisfied with it therefore it does not suck for me.

I don't care much for the Wii U as a console itself. I can handle weak hardware, if I'm worried about power, I'd just avoid any game that doesn't come to PC. What bothers me about it is how nonstandard controls are pushed. I'm fine with them being there and being optional, but not them being required. I would have prefered the Pro Controller be the main controller for the Wii U. Other than that, I don't mind it that much. It's cheap enough and has games I can't get for PC, though mostly because Nintendo is sticking to consoles really hard. Yeah, I'd prefer they go PC, but the Wii U is cheap enough that I can swallow that pill. It also makes for a convenient streaming device, when I don't want to wait for my HTPC to boot up.

Either way, I love Bayonetta 2 and Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze.

they need to have a strong line up on the launch titles too. I think they should move metroid prime 4 to the next console because by now it has been quite a while and there's no release date scheduled yet

well as far as metroid prime 4 is concerned, the next system probably is similar enough to the current gen they can probably easily just slap it onto a next gen cart and call it good :P
