Hacking The next step after GW 2.0?

Honestly, to me the most important features after the ones promised for 2.0 are realized:

1. Fixing the save-game issue with SDK 7+ games. I think this is still a big issue, as you cannot simply trade your games with anyone else as long as the savegames are deleted on their console. (Only solution I see so far is to backup your saves with Datel's PowerSaves)
2. Fixing the problem with SDK 7+ applications. If this problem persists with retail cartridges too, all future game releases won't work on Gateway. And for now, all eshop games and applications aren't working.

I think keeping the cart compatible with future games is probably the most important "feature", after that, they could probably work on some cheat feature or get the online working.

from what I understand if we want MultiROM we have to buy a MT! Meanwhile, no beta testers had the FW 2.0, then still only words from GW team and nothing real things. MT team has a new FW and do not complain about GW, GW team knows only complain of the Clones!
I do not know if there will ever 2.0 ....

Well so far I am really happy about my Gateway, it does everything I want it to so far.. play games. Sure it's not all of them but hey they rolled out emuNAND which works pretty well as far as I can tell. I was able to take the emuNAND and flash it to my internal eMMC without a problem, and it works! They demoed their ability to create the features that they said they are going to have, so I'm excited for 2.0, after that?

The one feature I hope they continue to update is the emuNAND so people can play their bought games online just fine. Multirom support sounds great but without it at least it forces me to finish the game I'm on haha. I don't see them getting this to work on the latest firmware or anything even remotely closer then what they have, sadly this creates quite a niche market.

I agree they over hyped themselves and set their deadlines too soon to try and fill the lull. I wonder if they just released the card, explained it's current features, and never put out a plethora of possible features. What if they just demonstrated one feature at a time they were working towards and released it with in a reasonable time frame would all the animosity towards them would still exsist? I'll wait for my fully baked cake thank you

Yeah clones are good and bad in any market, they help the eco-system of supply and demand, lower the price points, but of course the teams fight amongst each other for the market share and pull some underhand tactics at times. In the end people vote with their wallet.

No, not that m8 but when you have been at it as many times as me it starts to become a chor so concentrating on 2.0 Final takes away that bordem! That goes for women not men I dont swing that way only when there are two involved!

Well I guess after 2.0 release, GW could focus on, porting their exploit on 6.X firmwares (which still contain the flaw in a exploitable state), ensure compatiblities with future games, trying to find workarounds to play MP games...
