Could even be literally the same. You've gotta remember that canonically most of the power a main character wields in the story comes from the piece of the Triforce they have (minus Zelda I, where you technically don't have it yet and are just kind of thrown into the game and Wind Waker where you have to work for it)

The producer only said there is no point of Link being female, but he never said Zelda or some other girl is not playable.
Now I can finally play as a girl in Zelda.
