Here I bring you a great new thing: The Subtitler
It's a program that adds a window with translated dialog lines while you play the game on an emulator.
infamous location scripts strike at our very souls again. Opcode identification was kind of hard on that one actually.I'm glad you liked it. I saw it was difficult for you to find all that stuff so I added those features just to make it easier for you.
While making the program it was funny to see how often the game loaded a new script. You would enter a new part of the map and a new script would load, then suddenly another script would load, some character would talk to you and after he finished talking it would load back the script you were at. Trying to find all the dialogue without knowing what script everything was in would make you go crazy.
just want to ask how did you do it if you we're in prison all this time.I'm glad you liked it. I saw it was difficult for you to find all that stuff so I added those features just to make it easier for you.

And I want to ask if You still need translators? I can ask (or force hahaha just kidding) a friend of mine which is a manga translator.
Is it really that large? have you tried the compressing it using the "best" as option?Update
Here's version 2 of The Subtitler
https://mega.nz/#!RZFwFYgB!bgiSVJhrvmDMqsgvYnU8DDgfxGtoIz_8mmPIbTYbTfM
It's now compatible with a patch Pablitox sent me that translates graphics and system messages. The patch is included together with the program to patch it.
The patch translates graphics, item names, menus, etc, while The Subtitler gives you a window with the translated dialog.
Also the patch causes the original japanese dialog to be unreadable in the emulator (caused by the modified font).
You can use The Subtitler either with the patched ROM or the original japanese ROM, it works the same for both.
~30mb is not really bigIs it really that large? have you tried the compressing it using the "best" as option?
Ehehehe. wait 30 mb I thought it was 40?~30mb is not really big
Oh, Kirito, sweetie, there's necessary versions of emulators included. It will be a big download but pretty handy oneEhehehe. wait 30 mb I thought it was 40?

Still,I have a question. Can I get it to work with text that isn't proofreaded yet?
I'm not familiar with python so I can't assemble anything by myself
Ok Maybe I'll wait the next week so I have 1GB net and for the less buggy program.Right now it has everything available except for a few files after Day 6 that had bad formatting.
As the translation advances I'll release new versions of the subtitles folder, you'll only have to replace that folder with the new one
At least things keeps rolling, right?I've been following this thread for quite a while, and after I read the announcement about The Subtitler, it makes me wonder if the progress on the full translation patch will go faster.
Sorry if I sound like a noob, but the release of The Subtitler will increase the possibility of a full release this year?
it's definitely the right step to a clean, polished script. Thought there's still the problem of inserting it. The inserter's not ready (yet). I hope Earthdarkness answers soon.I've been following this thread for quite a while, and after I read the announcement about The Subtitler, it makes me wonder if the progress on the full translation patch will go faster.
