I have a question. With the IOSU, will we be able to run super smash bros for wii u 1080p native? right now it runs using 720p upscaled, so will we be able to change that with the iosu exploit?
Smash bros 4 is one of the few Wii U games that runs at native 1080p 60fps...

Maybe. In theory it could probably be done now, actually. It depends on the way Smash is put together.

You can't set a 30 fps game to 60 fps,

I mean you can but frame 1 and 2 will be the same xD

Pretty sure you can, if you change the way the frames are rendered. Like how an emulator (e.g. PPSSPP) can run a game at greater FPS than the game originally intended.

Yes, but an emulators runs on a much more powerful machine than the original hardware, which allows for things like that. I'm pretty sure than if [gameRunningAt30fps] runs at 30 fps instead of 60, it's because of technical limitations. Developers certainly wouldn't miss the chance to make their game run at a greater framerate if they could.

How soon after it comes out will we be able to play Wii games rendered in 1080p, like in Dolphin emulator?

Example:

TERRIBLE topic, learn how to use the internet, you have literally let down hundreds if not thousands of people that read your post as "oh wow, this person is confirming iosu is imminent" you failed

wow is that Skyward Sword? rendered in HD looks so fine.

looks on par with many of the ps3 game graphics.
would be sick if that 'iosu' would make it possible to run the Wii games on the WiiU in FullHD.

Well, the wii u is running in the same but most powerful arquitecture, so I think it will be easier to emulate wii game on it than in a x86 pc with similar specs
