cool, I just wanted to know someone was listening. Heres what I know:
I originally modded the wii-u over a year ago, I decided to check out nintendont and some emulators about a week ago and everything was running sweet. I was trying to get rom covers on wiiflow and I was following this tutorial .

Then I very stupidly install these wad files while I was playing around with it.
BC-NUS-v6.wad
Real Nand IOS/cIOS:
IOS58-64-v6176.wad
cIOS202[60]-hermesrodries-v6.wad
cIOS222[38]-hermes-v5.1.wad
cIOS223[57]-hermes-v5.1.wad
cIOS224[37]-hermes-v5.1.wad
cIOS245[37]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt.wad
cIOS246[38]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt.wad
cIOS247[53]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt.wad
cIOS248[55]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt.wad
cIOS249[56]-d2x-v10-beta52.wad
cIOS250[57]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt.wad
cIOS251[58]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt.wad
cIOS252[56]-d2x-v10-beta53-alt.wad
After I booted it back up, I went into HBC, hit start and it didn't load. Next mistake I made was I uninstalled HBC and tried to re-install it. On re-installation, when it gives you the screen that says "You should never pay for this software" it freezes and the "push 2 button" thing never appear. Lucky, I do have a wiiflow forwarder still installed. The vwii is now running on IOS36
So far I have manged to get 'homebrew launcher' and MMM working through bathaxx. Then through howebrew launcher I've got wii Mod lite running. I have been looking at this thread
http://gbatemp.net/threads/vwii-semi-bricked.353595/ and I found a IOS58 installer channel. I attempted to install the channel using wii mod lite and MMM but neither of them could read my sd card or USB device (I have tried loads of variations of this). The only thing that has been able to see my SD card is the wad installer built into homebrew launcher but that will not let me select slot 49.
Thats pretty much where I am now
