I just installed Riivolution v1.06 on my Wii U to be used with a Japanese copy of Earth Seeker and translation. It works, but does not play in full wide screen. Is there a way to force it? I can force it with WiiFlow and it shows the game is set up for it.

For the other translate path from the same author
Riivolution even don't load on vWii of Wii U...
Gecko worked, at least load this game in japaness on a NTSC vWii...
So I think for this specific game, Riivolution needs some update...

Riivo works on vWii.

Yes, It works on my WiiU, with Captain Rainbow, my other jp game, with or without patch, no problem.

But not working for this game, Ikenie No Yoru, as you can see in the last several post in that thread.

And I think the game is ok, because Gecko load it (of cause without patch, but loads at least )

Really want to play this game...

Sorry @FancyNintendoGamer567 for my bad english! I say if it possible convert the patch of riivolution translate to files of the backup disc to remplace the disc files and no need use riivolution (( Ikenie No Yoru English Translation have the two forms to translate the game using the riivolution patch and with remplace the files on disc backup (attach is readme of the patch)))

Technically speaking, you only need to rip the game to get an ISO file, opening it with a program such as WiiScrubber, or unpack it with Wimms Iso Tools or something and replace the files of the disc with the modified ones of the translation (and repack it if you used the second method). I've done this with a couple of mods for Smash Brawl and Monster Hunter, and that's all I've ever needed to do.

In fact, the translator, Brand Newman (hello there!) did a PDF instruction booklet mimicking the ones from Wii games with exact instructions as to how to create a translated ISO. It's a pretty cute detail, so kudos to him.

You mean that code that requires to use a 2 GB SD card?

While I can see it being useful for some, I personally see no reason to use that when I can easily put the modified files on the iso/wfbs and keep my bigger SD card with all the stuff I use regularly; not to mention I do not waste SD space on something that's already on the game's image.
