I assume you're on 1.0.0?I can not believe I am saying this, but I actually got it to work. Multiple times.
No, I am not joking. And yes, I have video.
I will post a separate thread so everyone can see how to do it.
Can you post the vid here as well?I can not believe I am saying this, but I actually got it to work. Multiple times.

Yes, I am on 1.0.0. Check out the tread: http://gbatemp.net/threads/secret-nes-golf-game-on-the-switch-a-tribute-to-mr-satoru-iwata.484536/I assume you're on 1.0.0?
I need to make a new video. The one I made was way too long (over 10mins), and I was not able to capture the hand motion. I will make another better one then upload. Can you post the vid here as well?
Do you have an ETA on that new video you're making?I need to make a new video. The one I made was way too long (over 10mins), and I was not able to capture the hand motion. I will make another better one then upload.
Yup, although I can't say I'm terribly surprised. It would be pretty crazy if a single person managed to get Golf to launch multiple times when there haven't been any other reports of that so far.And then there was silence
Couldn't you just upload a long one? If it still shows golf then we'll appreciate thatGuys, I'm working on it. It's a bit difficult to activate. Made 7 videos and still can't manage to get it under 5mins long. :/
Haha, I'd rather notUnless Theunidentified1 get his goddamn golf, he's going to take a SWING at you.
Hey I have something really important regarding the NES emulator on the Nintendo Switch. I had this really odd experience with my switch that when I had left and returned to it, NES Golf was on my screen. I played it and it played normally, but it was night time for me so I wasn't thinking about the importance of this. I went to do some research on this and I didn't find anything about it until I looked at what was discovered by the modding community. They found this "'Flog' NES emulator. Installed on retail systems but not known to be launched by anything currently." I believe that "Flog" is simply "Golf" backwards and I had somehow caused it to launch. Now this is entirely your choice to believe me or not, I totally blame myself for not recording any of it and since it happened randomly to me, I do not think I can repeat this myself.
I want to know if anyone else has experienced this just so I know I'm not alone on this. No I did not record any proof of this as I'm stupid and when I was finished playing it I exited out of it without recording anything.
Edit: Due to a request I'm linking this guy's twitter who seems to be able to look into this further https://twitter.com/ylws8
...and you can watch it in this thread: http://gbatemp.net/threads/secret-nes-golf-game-on-the-switch-a-tribute-to-mr-satoru-iwata.484536/Video is up...
@SciresM I do believe you owe this guy an apologyFor what it's worth, there are no NES Roms anywhere in the console's NAND/etc where flog could access them, even if you somehow managed to launch flog.
Anyway, OP's a liar, move on, nothing to see here.
(Also, qlaunch and flog don't share a titleid, qlaunch (which is the home menu), contains code to launch flog that goes unused -- and even if it were used somehow there would be no NES roms anywhere for flog to load anyway).

Hey dood. Can you tell how accurate the motions need to be by looking at the activation flag requirement? Not sure I believe OP got it to work given the dates, but yeah, okay -- my bad, sorry.
Guess I failed to consider "hardcoded" as a ROM location, heh.
