According the official Kalos Pokedex guide by Nintendo, it can be found in the tall grass and red flowers on the route. Hope that this helps.
Long time lurker first post! Just want to say amazing work. I've used every version of this save you've put out so far and they are great! Is it possible in a future release to include a Shiny Spiritomb? It seems to only be obtainable through friend Safari Many thanks again

Thanks for compliments and for bringing up the missing spiritomb. I will work on it and include it in the next rollout. I can't guarantee that it will be shiny (I will probably just get it off of the GTS to save me some time.) I will try to post the update soon.
Well, here is the X file now with Spiritomb included. It's not shiny and it came from the GTS. That is all I had time for.

This didn't work for me. It says Corrupt save file when I open it.Use GW to dump your pokemon game to .3ds
yeah, wrong info, you currently cant use a save from an original cart with gateway.

Just to give everybody an update, I'm working on the first massive update of the Y save. It will allow for the completion of the Kalos Dex. I hope to have this released either later today or tomorrow. It's a slow process, but it is coming along.
Ok, a few housekeeping things first. I would like to thank the guys who have helped both on this board and via PM to gather lists of missing Pokemon from the saves that can only be found in Friend Safari. I knew that we were 100% complete for the Kalos Dex and for Bank Pokemon, however there are still a fair amount of pokemon missing from the Friend Safari list. I had forgotten how many pokemon that I found in the FS months ago. It is indeed a massive list. The way it stands now, the X save has everything needed to complete the Kalos Dex and all of the Bank pokemon as well. The FS additions will have to be completed, which will take awhile.
Now onto the main matter at hand, here is the first major revision of the Y save file. In it, you will find the trade evolutions, the Pokemon that are exclusive to X, the X exclusive megastones, a 6 IV ditto, and a few extras (including a fresh fennekin since the one that was used as a starter has gained some experience.) Articuno and Moltres are in there, but Zapdos can be caught after you complete the main game. I have updated the text file with the list of pokemon and will update the front page shortly. If there are any gaps that can be seen, let me know.
Before moving on to complete the Friend Safari for both files, my goal will be to upload the rest of the Bank pokemon to Y. Once the files are on equal footing, then progress will be made on the Friend Safari. Players who have already started the files should still be able to catch the missing pokemon in the safari, I think.

Concerning the friend safari:
Has anyone considered this: You could make another NAND dump, run it as emuNAND and make a factory reset. Afaik your friend code gets reseted too. So you could go online, get a new friend code and add yourself as a friend. In theory, you only have to repeat the steps from doing a factory reset and will get quite fast at least the slot 1 and 2 pokemon from friend safari. At least faster than adding 50 people.
The problem is that I don't know which effect the factory reset has on the real NAND. If it deletes you real friend code, this method is not useful. Further, I'm too afriad to try it, cause I fear that my Ambassedor games get deleted on real NAND. And we all know redownloading them from emuNAND will turn them unplayable.

don't you both have to add the friend code before you are actually classed as friends.....so you would need to restore your original nand to be able to add the new friend code that gets created

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.+1

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
