What are the chances of bricking your xbox liteon drive if you screw up a pmt?

If you sucessfully extracted your DVD key then not much.
You can always flash it back.

If you haven't, then it's likely that you'll need a RGH or R-JTAG to get your DVD key back.

Also, if you're uncomfortable by the build quality of your own PMT, I suggest getting a Probe 3 (PMT) from Team Xecuter.

thanks. I can do it my self. But i wasnt sure if you ground the probe to the xbox case or the ground on the drive power supply? Just too many different tutorials.
EDIT: Just another question. does this work on the latest dashboard?

Drive powersupply.
It's what the Probe 3 also does.

I just bought a Probe 3 since I do a lot of DVD key extracting and cba with a flimsy homebrew probe ;p
