Hacking Patapon 2 exploit crashing on Phat PSP

Hello, I'm currently trying to downgrade a PSP Phat, which I know has been hacked before but got updated to 5.50 by accident, so following the softmod guide...

If you are not on 6.20 yet...
- PC -
1. Download OFW 6.20.
2. Make a folder on your memory stick in /PSP/GAME/, name it UPDATE, and place the EBOOT.PBP file into it.
- PSP -
1. Run the 6.20 update from the Game menu.
2. Tell it to upgrade and wait for it to finish.


- PC -
1. Download and set up 6.20 TN-B as the site tells you.
1. Download New PSARDUMPER.
2. Move the new_psardumper folder into the /PSP/GAME/ folder of your PSP's memory stick.
3. Download OFW 5.00.
4. Rename 5.00's EBOOT to 500.PBP, and put it in the root of your PSP's memory stick.
- PSP -
1. Launch TN-B (via the patapon 2 exploit) to get into HEN mode.
2. Run PSARDUMPER from the PSP's Game menu.
3. When it's running, press Square.
4. When it's done it'll reboot your PSP.

I've followed the intructions to the letter, and, after doings a tiny bit of research on the patapon 2 exploit, downloading the demo, and getting the data, it crashes when trying run it, right when I'm supposed to press R after Patapon 2 has loaded...and then it resets the PSP..

any suggestions?

happened to me, reformat your memory stick and it should work.

You can use TN-C or TN-D (which are signed and don't need the patapon exploit to run first).
