True, but the community isn't just 12 year olds. There are people with common sense as well.
This is a ridiculously low price for this kind of information IMO.
That's your choice but it still stands that pissing on a grave is pretty damn immature, it solves nothing.
A snitch is typically someone who "rats you out," or tells on you, meaning, you did something wrong. A white hat hacker blowing the whistle and exposing exploits that could and probably would be used for immoral things like piracy, is definitely being a snitch. Only thing is, snitch is typically only a bad word to bad people. (There are different levels of course. No one likes a person who snitches on every minor thing.) I would agree that they are "snitches," but I'm not mad at them either. They are trying to do a good thing and make some money doing it.
Yes but the small group of misfits that act like 12 year olds are the reason some devs give up and leave in the first place. Not saying you are, but some people are just awful and arent grateful for anything sadly.
It's a way of speech.
No kidding, reminds me of the whole United Airlines story yesterday. It's sad they get away with it too tbh, cheapskates...
I'm glad we agree that the immature people here ruin everything at least.
I second that.
As much as I want to be able to hack the Switch. I hold no ill will to people that are trying to help Nintendo create as secure a system as possible.
It's sad that some people are. How messed up is that? To think that these devs have to keep their Hacks to give to the community and not Nintendo for some spending money.
I highly doubt you can call a person who reports an exploit found by themselves to Nintendo a snitch.
Nintendo needs hackers to tighten their own security.
Without hackers, there's no security.
Interpretation, I guess. Doesn't really matter.
money talks...bullshit walks
Eh, it's not like they rat Nintendo out to the Yakuza and the Yakuza to Nintendo ;p
rats you out? snitch on you?
oh damn did they patch a security hole which people you knew about and going to release for the switch so we can pirate it? no!
they patched something we had no idea about. how can they snitch on as about something we had no idea about.
if someone hacks computer of smea's, yellows8, or mine and then releases it to Nintendo.. THEN its snitching
Back in my day, a snitch was a rat. Helping to make the console more secure is nowhere near that.
Man, it's hilarious to see people getting all paranoid about something we don't even know what they patched lol.
Though it isn't that much a wall of shame because those on that wall still hacked it while you are just bitching
And who know maybe they don't give a crap about the community and just need money
