It appears we will be getting our release date of Splatoon and more info on ARMS, and maybe some surprises in between!

I wonder if multiplayer games will come with a code for a 6-month online subscription. Otherwise imagine kids that get a game for their birthday and can't play online because they don't have credit cards etc.

Ahh idk about that.
Ms and sony did the 2 day and 7 day. But it seems like it was game depended and most games stop.
It says on the box you need paid severs.

So i doubt nintendo would do that right now.
The kids would just have to tell there moms and dads to pay.
Nintendo will probably do online cards tho. Bit we wont know until later in the year

Actually... I don't know, it all depends.
I hope they announce new release dates for things, not only ARMS and Splatoon.
If they, e.g., give dates for upcoming indie games, eshop games, new games, whatever, I will be happy and I won't consider it a waste of time. But I predict they won't.

Nintendo Directs used to have so much information, it was like its own E3. Now they're just disheartening and boring.

A large number of people think so. Heck, even the staunch switch defenders think so, as Nintendo tends to do a terrible job with these types of things. Just do your own thing and read a brief recap. That way, the 5 minutes spent learning about what's new in arms and splatoon is the only time wasted.

The direct was bare bones but on the bright side Minmin looks like a really cool fighter and that new splatoon mode looks fun as heck too

This is a pre-E3 Direct and stated literally in their press feed that it was going to focus on Splatoon 2 and ARMS.
And if they show EVERYTHING for the Switch now, what will they have to show for E3 2017?
