Soo I wanna hear from you users, why would I use this rather than original reinand?
Being able to boot into a Patched SYSNand is a start.
Correct. In the new 3.3 build, you can use either the 10.2 firmware.bin or the 10.4, but not both. The 10.2 really only needs used for NTR.
"Compared to the official 3.3 build, this has:I already have minipasta for that, and I can play gba cias as well as smash.
I'm not saying this mod is pointless, but I just wanna hear it from an user as to why I should change to it.
Can anyone explain 10.2 firm and 10.4 fitm tome too and why is it so important?
Also I read this is compatible with NTR. Is original reinand not compatible? And why would I want to use it with reinand?
Sorry for so much questions, I really dont know and this seems to be the perfect place to get informed
"Compared to the official 3.3 build, this has:
- N3DS 10.4 FIRM support
- O3DS support (on >= 7.x consoles only) with configurable FIRM reboot patch behavior.
- SysNAND support (both with the firmware.bin on SD and the 9.0/9.2 FIRM on NAND).
- Splash screen only delays boot if rei/splash.bin is on the SD card.
- No ARM9 thread (in the official builds, this provides the "Ver." cosmetic patch in System Settings, which happens to patch random "Ver."s in FCRAM, and thus made me uncomfortable, and FCRAM dumping)."
That's pretty much it Booting SysNAND with new FIRM might be useful if you want to play new games on it, or boot eShop.
No, that's only if you want to boot directly into reiNAND from Menuhax without using a boot manager.Two quick questions. I'm updating from v3.1 and the menuhax folder is new in this build. Is that now required?
Also, how do you generate the firmware.bin file? Is this something I can do for myself?
You can now find firmwares on github (I've updated the first post accordingly).Two quick questions. I'm updating from v3.1 and the menuhax folder is new in this build. Is that now required?

Create a non-empty (at least one byte) "reversereboot" file inside of "rei" (without extension).How can I play GBA VC games without holding A in boot? I have a O3DS 9.0 btw.
console ? ((void (*)())0x801B01C)() : ((void (*)())firmLocation->arm9Entry)();
I stole it from CakesFW.Code:console ? ((void (*)())0x801B01C)() : ((void (*)())firmLocation->arm9Entry)();
You don't happen to have this running somewhere other than on a 3DS, do you? Or have some sort of debug-ish interface to the firmware, do you?

DS carts function correctly, yes. AFAIK (never used it myself) you use NTR the same as with any other CFW, by running it after AuReiNAND has launched.I see, cool!, So if I wanna change from Reinand 3.2 to this for my NEW 3DS. I only have to replace files?. Also how can I use it along with NTR (that seems to be the rage these days)? do DS Carts (Like Super Mario 64 DS, Not flashcarts) Function correctly?
Who still uses MSET on 9.2 in 2016 when there is menuhax ? I understand people still using it on 4.5 because they are too lazy to update or don't want to change a setup that works, but if you're on 9.2, just don't even think about MSET.Does someone has a code.bin to install mset for reinand mod without a Nds flashcard?
It's for a 2ds firmware 9.2
Thank you
