Hacking lost my NSMB save on my AK2i

For some reason a couple days after updating my AKAIO loader I went back into New Super Mario Bros. and my save file was gone. I looked at the micro SD card and the .sav file was there still. Somehow the save slot got deleted in the game.

I'm really bummed. I was on level 6 with 30 lives.

Has stuff like this happened to anyone else?

Is it possible it's just not looking for the .sav in the right place? Like if the default switched from .nds.sav to .sav?

oh good thinking. but yeah i checked the microSD and theres only one sav file for it, no duplicates or similar named sav files.

Use system properties to change save file type from .nds.sav to .sav or vice versa.

I once lost my Mario and Luigi Bowser Inside story with the AK2i...I didn't have any problems since then but it still happened.
