Hardware I bought an Ultra Sensor Bar at Target tonight, mostly bought for

I found this on amazon a couple of days ago, the only reason I haven't bought it already is I cant figure out the correct diameter or whatever it is for the jack. I'm gonna go to a best buy or radio shack for assistance on this.

I bought a couple of USB sensor bars that look like that one, but I am not sure they are the same bar.
The ones I had did not work when I got them.
I did not find out fast enough after I got them so i could not exchange them, but because of the reason they did not work I bet if I had exchanged them the new ones would not have worked.
The +/- From the usb cable was connected backwards, and after correcting that they work but really badly.
