It also depends on N64 emulation, I know PSP can't emulate quite a lot of games at the moment and we really just don't know what is in this thing until Nintendo tell us.

The price is more agreeable than I thought at first, when you consider than the PSP Go is still more expensive. I worked out that, in the UK, we'll be paying £220 for it. If you directly convert the price of the 3DS before Japan's 5% consumption tax, then apply the UK's 20% VAT, you get £216 which'll obviously get rounded up.
- Release date.QUOTE said:- Only GB/GBA/GBC Virtual Console?
To be honest, if the Game Boy Virtual Console will be as poorly supported as the main one on the Wii, it won't even be worth bothering with. It's a nice touch, I'll admit, and I really can't wait to re-buy a lot of my games, but I'm hardly expecting more than all the popular first party titles.

I don't think Nintendo are simply going to just make the games look nicer, and leave it at that. I'm hoping that Nintendo will include additional (and non-gimmicky) content to justify the purchase of the re-makes. It'd be nice if Nintendo allowed people to buy N64 games that Nintendo don't plan on remaking.
I mean, look at it this way. Ocarina Of Time is available on VC for Wii. The remake of Ocarina Of Time for 3DS is on its way. Why not let people download the original N64 version for 3DS too, for nostalgic value? Couldn't hurt. If people bought the N64 VC version for 3DS and enjoyed it, you'd assume they'd be interested in buying the remake for 3DS.
I don't know, I just think that it's a waste of the 3DS's power to not allow N64 VC.
I tottally agree.yuyuyup said:$300 BRUTAL

Funny, I wasn't talking about price in that quote?
Also, I already have the money ready to buy the 3DS, I just think the price is slightly heavy.

Japan has stuff at a higher price.
You can't just translate the japanese price and be like ZOMFG THE AMERICAN PRICE IS SO MUCH.

I agree, criticism is good, as long as you can also acknowledge the positives.
Which I did, which surprises me that people are getting angry.
Thanks by the way, labradors and puppies are the best.

Here are some things that I'm worried/let down about:
- Price. yeah a bit high... But I will and I must buy IT!
- Only GB/GBA/GBC Virtual Console? Do not worry, there will come more if I know nintendo
- Release date.SSF IV at the release!
- For the price, the unit looks somewhat cheap.nah looks okay, you can say the same about the Wii.
- The re-addition of the volume "slider", as opposed to the excellent DSi and DSi XL volume buttons. As long as the sound is good I do not care!
However, I'm happy about:
- Tag mode. Agree
- Swapping your DSiWare games to the 3DS. Oh My God a solution on the stupid problem!
- Mii's!Meh?
- The games mostly look fantastic visually, excluding that crummy Japanese baseball title.YAAY
- Strong major titles from major developers.:yayagain:
- The non-fingerprint attracting material coming back from the DSi.no carez
Quote from the SSB begging thread. People the 3DS has the power of a console. There is no denying that games on the 3DS look as good as or better than the Wii. Why wouldn't they make one for the 3DS? The way this is going, EVERYONE will have one of these.. People will collect these just like the electric toaster phase for Pete's sake!!Range-TE said:N4RU70 FR34K said:KazoWAR said:I heard Super Smash Bros. Brawl was the last in the series.

oh come on, did you guys just ignored my previous post?
it's just how they make em, it was on an interview (iwata asks), they make it as if it was their last SSB game, they did it with melee too

I felt that a large premise of the project was that this was not a series that would continue indefinitely. After all, it wasn’t possible to keep on increasing the characters that are entitled to take the field in Smash Bros. And even if you try to utilize new familiar characters that resonate with the fans, you can’t get each and every gamer to be happy. Just li its predecessor then, we decided to design the game as if it was the last one in the series.
Iwata
I see.
