Can you let me know what the solution was? I have same problem and hope it has the same solution.

Hakchi2.14 gets stuck "waiting for your nes mini.." when I sync for games. I can install driver but it goes right back to same waiting screen. This is strange to begin with cause I can still flash kernal and install mods just fine, and have been using hakchi2 for a while anyways with no problems. (shouldn't need to install driver.)

So this happens with fresh install of Hakchi2.14 and updating from 2.13e. Going back to 2.13e works. And I can communicate with the mini in 2.14b to upload new kernel.....but when it gets to syncing games it is always waiting for mini.

Any help is appreciated! @Beaps ?.... @Cluster .... Anyone?
-Cheers

having the same issue. also tried what @Cluster suggested. didnt work!

Awesome work! I'll try to update to 2.14 either today or tomorrow.

For me right now the only missing stuff is:

- Schematics / video / tutorial on how to solder the USB-HOST enable pin + which cable to buy + which power supply (1A? 2A?) to buy to give power to both NESC and USB memory stick. I'd love to have all my neogeo+mame+console games in a single NESC...

- Is it possible to overclock the NESC like in the rasperrypi to improve some games performance?

- Good "crt-like" shaders.

Maybe not all are possible... and I'm just dreaming :?

I've installed the new 2.14 version, everything works fine but.. my classic wii controller configuration is all messed up now, don't know why.
In older versions buttons were mapped automatically, now only A and B work ok but Y and X no more. They become like A2 and B2.
What am I missing?
(I've reinstalled even the new retroarch, mods etc.)

EDIT: Nevermind, it was the new autofire option, I deselected it and now all is ok

Seems so, tried both Zeldas, Banjo Kazooie and F-Zero X and they all keep the save files in-between sessions now.

When you say to "disable compression", are you referring to unzipping the file before you transfer it to the NESC? Or is this the setting in Hakchi under one of the tabs in the menu?

I want to update to Hakchi 2.14b (from 2.13e), are the steps the same as when I upgraded from 2.11 -> 2.13e?

Is it best to uninstall all of my mods + retroarch and then re-install them on 2.14b? Will it install the new "driver" the first time I hit sync (before I copy all my games over)?

In regards to Clovershell, I assume the "client" is what you use to transfer the games to the NESC. Is the only way to do this using the command line? (I didn't see a GUI)

Hi @Cluster I just downloaded hakchi2 2.14b, and I read somewhere that you can now place more than 30+ games in a single folder and you won't get any C8 errors. I tested it on my Famicom Mini, and it still gives me C8 errors whenever I place more than 30+ games per folder. Is there something I'm doing wrong if ever? Thanks in advance and for your hardwork in this! :D

Same for me. I don't like using folders. I like having everything right on the main screen. When I disable folders and set the max number of games to 100, I get C8 errors. I have 92 games.

Do I need to use folders if I have more than 30 games?

Did you guys install the new Hakchi 2.14b "driver"? Is retroarch mod and any other mods all up to date?
