i recently deleted my windows vm on parallels and am now trying to get my g6 lite to work with crossover on my mac. i created a windows2000 bottle, the installation went through fine, and now i'm trying to write pokemon diamond to the cart. it writes all the way through, but at the end, i'm prompted with a "disk full" error. i updated the firmware and the loader with the latest software from the g6flash website. why am i getting this error? there is plenty of space on the cart. i'm on an intel macbook, OSX 10.4.9. thanks!

I'm using WINE to write to mine. I would get full disk errors sometimes although it might be my USB cable. Does it work on a Windows box? Sometimes the G6 will do this for no apparent reason, reboot and try again.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
