I mean, after what @Wintendows said about him teaching him everything he knows about hacking...I'm not sureReally unlickely but still possible if someone found a security flaw in nintendo's serv that allow to spoof codes people buy
and use them before they can
but still very unlickely and that's not something that goes mainstream easily xD
Dind't really followed the threadI mean, after what @Wintendows said about him teaching him everything he knows about hacking...I'm not sure
Worse than piracy, I agree. If he gets caught then Nintendo could sue him hard.Dind't really followed the thread
i just saw op question, read first page and answered
it is possible to spoof code before users use them, but not that easy
the software could then make the creator gain money through advertisement
i already saw similar softwares
but yeah really unlickely
and mind that if that's the case, the code you use are code you stole to an unlucky someone else
so worse than piracy in my opinion
Using code generators:so worse than piracy in my opinion

Yes it is worse for the person doing it. If they caught him then he'd be screwedWorse than piracy, I agree. If he gets caught then Nintendo could sue him hard.
No because in most case devs are not loosing a lot from piracyUsing code generators:
>person goes to Nintendo with bad code from card and receipt
>Nintendo gives them another code
>finds out what profile used the code and bans them
Piracy:
>person illegally obtains content
>developer loses money on card
>Nintendo can't ban them by using traditional means
>devs go out of business
Yeah, totally worse.

They lose potential profits.Actually, developers don't LOSE anything if you pirate. They just don't GET anything either.
Key word being "potential". I pirated a lot of software. If I couldn't pirate, I wouldn't have it at all. I wouldn't buy it anyway, so zero loss from me.They lose potential profits.
If one person pirates it doesn't hurt the devs.
If 5,000 people pirate, that is $200,000 (for a $40 game)
I wasted my life on a thread. I didn't get a chance to spend these minutes on something non-cancerous. Point is: If we would all use your logic, then all answers would have two forms. They lose potential profits.

But Nintendo doesn't make games. They make consoles.Key word being "potential". I pirated a lot of software. If I couldn't pirate, I wouldn't have it at all. I wouldn't buy it anyway, so zero loss from me.
Actually, here's something funny: Because piracy exists, Nintendo actually MADE money because of me. I wouldn't buy a 3DS if I couldn't pirate games.
Fair enough.I wasted my life on a thread. I didn't get a chance to spend these minutes on something non-cancerous. Point is: If we would all use your logic, then all answers would have two forms.
But your statement doesn't make sense. They make both. But Nintendo doesn't make games. They make consoles.
They kind of do. For example, Mario. But Nintendo doesn't make games. They make consoles.
On top of that there are a lot of games that i bought after pirating them first and that i would have never bought without piracyKey word being "potential". I pirated a lot of software. If I couldn't pirate, I wouldn't have it at all. I wouldn't buy it anyway, so zero loss from me.

Nintendo doesn't make Mario. Someone else makes Mario, they just make them for Nintendo consoles. They kind of do. For example, Mario.
