I was gonna ask you Cyan, are there any plans to fix the issue in USB-Loader GX where when you have a two disk game like "Resident Evil: Code Veronica" on the same SD/USB and load one it will always load the file it finds first? Like if I choose disk 1 some games would load disk 1 always and other games would load disk 2 always, are there any plans to fix that?DM read anything the loader send to it.
Most loaders read only "game.iso", but USB loader GX read these filenames:
game.iso
game.gcm
ID6.iso (for example GMSP01.iso)
ID6.gcm
but if you switch loaders often, just rename the file to "game.iso" to be sure it's working in all loaders.
I can confirm that it does work if you use GCReEx to manually replace main.dol for the game you want to play.On another suggestion, do you think it's possible to add an option to choose a .dol file from the GC game? I still believe this may fix the problem with Sonic Gems Collection!

Except Sonic CD hangs at loading screen.
//Albeit I should state that Sonic the Fighters for example needs something from the actual game, because some things are in corrupted text, like the pause menu. Same goes for Sonic R.

nope, not that I know of.So, no new updates since last month, right?
I'll make it so that two discs games only show one title listed.
If you select devolution mode, it will launch disc1, if it's DM(L) it will ask which disc you want to boot.
I started working on Disc1/Disc2 detection, and that's when my computer crashed.
I still haven't resumed the loader's development (I'm still backing all my data to an external hdd, then I'll replace internal hdd, then put back everything on the new hdd! it's a long process).

II didn't know GC discs had multiple dol.
I don't think there's a way to load an alternative dol from the iso, as the loader is sending only the path to the iso to DM(L).
You need to extract and replace the file manually like SuperrSonic said.
Do tell me that you reformatted it from the factory default NTFS to FAT32 with 32KB sectors.Did someone get dios mios working with a seagate freeagent goflex portable? I allways got black screen on Gamecube games (and also my wii dont reconize my HDD when I go on a 2nd app)
FAT32 with 32KB sectors, yes it is. But like I said, it looks like it has difficulty to stay connected when i open an App on homebrew channel, (no problem with channel btw) And also, APT (sleep mode) set on never.Do tell me that you reformatted it from the factory default NTFS to FAT32 with 32KB sectors.Did someone get dios mios working with a seagate freeagent goflex portable? My apologies if that was too obvious.

I bought the exact same drive you have, just to help you out. I've installed and tested a couple of Wii disc backups through USB Loader GX, as well as emunand channels and all worked fine. I then installed two GCN games and launched them through DIOSMIOS and they worked fine too, so no problems. Of course, I'm joking about buying it just to help you, but I happened to pick one up today from Target on clearance (this feminine looking one right here), so I figured I might give you some feedback. I did not mess around with firmware, sleep parameters, etc.It was working well with my WD, but i tried with my girlfriend's Seagate and its #%*@ top. i need to disconnect/reconnect it when i quit a Wii game or start an emulator.
