It's so early in the switches life anyway, I'm sure if that does happen, more opportunities for exploits will come.

not good at all. it's too early. just now etika made video about it. Nintendo will see it for sure and patch it on the next update. he shouldn't release it until more games come out.

Wrong: it's the method to get kernel that will be patched, not kernel itself: a new exploit will be required: I assume they started with pegaswitch(?) which has been known and somewhat public for a while now.
This has nothing to do with the SDKA few days ago, somebody was saying to me here that the release of the SDK does not mean anything at all. Well, if he needs a better answer than how quickly this escalated...

watch when a kexploit is released the'll be tossing banhammers faster than the Hammer bros on super mario bros 3
I really really hope there wont be anything concrete for at least a year from now on...And I dont particularly care for emulators and other shit when you can do all that on pretty much every platforms available ( even Xbox -_-).

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
