I left both of my ds systems on overnight in sleep mode next to each other, when I woke up this morning both lights were green. I opened the systems and they both had notifications on the home screen about passing someone in poke.on but the in game buzznav had no updates and no ticket I don't understand what I'm doing wrong.

the actual streetpass takes only 15-17 seconds of 3DS near each other (I have tested this personally)

Okay....is that why it takes me hours for my lights to go green? How come I woke up to notifications that I passed someone but the ticket never transferred, again I put my DS's back into sleep and there's no green light on any of them now. I'm following everything to do and nothings working.

When you slept 8 hours passed and they got another streetpass, from that moment you have to wait ANOTHER 8 hours in order to get a pass from that 3ds
Your rom needs to be .3dz for streetpasses to work, do you have the roms as .3dz?
Yes, I imported the header and the save, saved it as .3dz. Launch game on both systems and put them to sleep, one is a legit retail cartridge the other is my rom in gateway. Twice it has said it detected someone but no message or notification on buzznav when I checked it, and no eon ticket.
