Hacking cIOSCORP removal and putting on hbc help

both hackmii AND preloader. but the new hackmii installer will still not work until you get the cIOSCORP stuff off of at least IOS35.

There's an updated DoP-IOS out (version 8). Have you tried loading that via Indiana pwns yet?
If that worked correctly then it would also get rid of the cIOSCORP stuff for you.


UPDATE
Ummm... DoP-IOS has BOTH a .dol version AND an .elf version. See if that bad boy will fire up with Indiana pwns and let it install the latest version of IOS35 and whatever else you feel like. Don't tell it to trucha patch IOS35 though and I think the hackmii installer will run.

for some reason, indiana pwns wont load the elf file.

it says

and then thats all it does. it doesnt actually load it.

thanks, i saw the update. i got homebrew channel on, but my wad manager wont load. it crashes when i load 1.3, and it doesnt recognize wad manager 1.4, or 1.5.
also, it wont load dop-ios, it just crashes when i hit load.

Is the new HBC acting up only on 4.2 or on 4.1 also?

for me, its only acting up on 4.2, because i installed everything fine on a 4.1 menu for my friend with no problems.
