I'm working on several video projects at once and as always two factors come in to play. The space required to record and work, and the time required to encode such behemoths. I've finally decided to back off of only using 10Mbs Constant Bit rate encoding to playing around with Variable bit rates and I had a few questions that Google wasn't helping with. Maybe someone out there has an idea what happens. If I set the "Average bit rate" of the MP4 to 10Mbs and I set the "Minimum bit rate" to the same thing, 10Mbs, than will compression be less noticeable than using a lower "Minimum"?
