Is there any problem with accessing Miiverse while playing a ROM from another region with Gateway? Say, if I'm playing a Japanese game on my American 3DS, what would happen if I tried to access its Miiverse community?

When installing Gateway 3DS, do you still need to install and do the Win32 Disk Imager stuff found in this tutorial?

I ask because this tutorial seems to be from before Omega 2.2 was released, and in another tutorial, another guy added the ROM files to the micro SD directly without mention of Win32 Disk Imager and they worked on the Gateway 3DS.

I am currently trying to update my EMUnand on my 3ds but, it keeps failing. After a quick good search, it tells me that Nintendo could be down. I highly doubt it and was wondering if this could be a problem with my sd card?

this was happening to me, i moved closer to my router, kept trying and it eventually went through.

Not possible. From everything I've read, any backed up system nand/emunand is tied to the specific DS system it was pulled off of.

That's why it's so important to back up your nand. If you're system firmware ever gets updated by accident (or your SD card carrying your emunand becomes corrupt), you'll have backup files that can be flash back onto your system.

if emunand is on your sd card, that is what will be loaded when you load up gateway.
you created emunand, so everytime you will be using it.

there is no setting to change it, it is possible in the future there could be though.

I would like to play some DS game, but each time I launch one with the blue card, I can't launch gateway anymore after switching to the red/white card, I have to reinstall it.

I've seen many people recommend BestR4i3DS.com so that's where I ordered mine. Turned out to be the only place that has them in stock, anyway. Still hasn't come yet. The wait is killing me.
