tldr: He wound up in jail for 20 years and he's a pedophile. Go check out the freeShop thread, it contains all the details.

Although I get why they're trying to distance from him (do you want to be the dev that associates with pedos? I sure as hell wouldn't want to be), the problem is that DSPDump is one of the most needed tools there is, and Rinnes variant isn't open source bc he lost the source code.

Personally speaking, I don't see why DSPDump should be removed from the guide. Cruel is horrible. His code is checkable by anyone and as long as that doesn't contain anything worrisome, people are overreacting.

Make sure you are using the latest versions of the homebrew launcher (https://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/starter.zip). If problem persists, as Ev1l0rd says, try a different entry point.

Edit: DSP Dump's removal from the guide is now going to force a lot more noobs onto reddit and the temp, posting the same question as a new thread, over and over and over again "hax0rd 3ds, no sound on emulator. did i brick it???". Sigh.

Should have dumped the DSP when the tools came out months ago :/
But on the other hand, if it doesn't work, i'll wait till a new tool come sout (if ever)
(ow, yes i'm using latest HBL ;)

Yeah, didn't want to create a new thread, didn't want to come over as a noob with my medal :P

I assume you have cfw so downgrade to 11.3 with 3Down and dump the DSP, then upgrade again or stay there.

Yeah, i considered that, but i just updated to 11.4 and try to avoid doing all the extra work :)
But it seems @zoogie has a better solution to try :)

So how do you install this then? I'm trying to load up ScummVM and apparently need this first but can't spy a CIA, which is the only thing I've ever used before...

Any help?
