Get the mayflash one instead, it works really well and has a switch on it to use it on PC via USB HID so emulators other than dolphin can use it. The cord is also decently longer than the official adapter also.

Aight, thanks for the advice :D

Anyone else feel like the post should be edited to reflect the reported issues with some third party Gamecube adapters? I mean, it says ALL third party Gamecube adapters work, even though the Nexilux adapter obviously doesn't from my experience. Don't want anyone else to have to learn the hard way I suppose.

if it worked on nintendont menu to move up and down and choose games and settings it also works ingame, you must be doing somethingg wierd, just do this use your adapter in ssbm while in vs character select just unplug and replug and try evey port to see if any hand activates.

The MaxPads setting isn't set to 0 by any chance?

As for getting Wii U GamePad support on the Wii U, someone would need to find a way to boot Wii mode while keeping the GamePad controls active.

Hi everybody

I have a problem with Nintendont: /
I have a wiimote surely Chinese and a HORI Battle Pad for Wii U

All works well in Nintendont's menu
But as soon as I launch a game, the wiimote changes to player 4.

Finally this is what the LED seems to want indicated
I wanted to know if someone had a solution for me

I'm sorry if someone has already asked the question
But I did not find an answer to that.
I hope not to have to buy a wiimote just for that: /
Sorry if my english is bad

If you're not using the Wii remote as a controller in the Gamecube game it's normal for it to be assigned to player 4 and turn off. It has to have a controller extension connected to it to stay as player 1 and be used.

What do you mean by "Wiimote Extension"?
Nuchunk or Classic Controller for example?
As I read everywhere that the HORI Battle for Wii U should be detected as a Classic Controller, it connects to the same location
Thank you for your reply

I have no idea. It's not on the controller list in the OP. It could just be the knockoff remote causing it. Does it work as expected using a nunchuk or classic controller?

You did not have to see it, but it is in the list

The problem is that I have nothing else to try: /

But I think it's too stupid everything works in Nintendont's menu: / It's really when I run a game that bug

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

When I plug the Hori Battle Pad into the wiimote and the game is launched
The first LED lights up for 1 millisecond

Check underneath that: "If your bluetooth controller (wiimote, Classic, Classic Pro, Wii U Pro) is not an official controller then it may have issues"

You said your remote was a third party one so that may be the problem. That's why I asked if it worked with any other controller extensions like the classic controller or nunchuk.

It runs under the virtual Wii system so unless there's a way to forward from the Wii U menu to the vWii one I'm guessing no.

I'm able to launch HBL2HBC through home menu which takes you to Homebrew Channel from the Wii U home menu. It works but my main gripe is that the pro controller/gamepad dont work on the Homebrew Channel menu

I don't know if the gamepad will ever work in Wii mode but since the HBC source was released it should be possible to add WUPC support to it either with the separate library or the newest libogc.

I wanted to look at resident evil 4 pal50 for so long now but forgot about it, but today I actually checked it out and it was quite simple to patch, so it now works properly in this new update.
-added new timer patch which now fixes resident evil 4 pal running too fast in pal50 mode
-removed static killer7 pal50 patch since its now covered by the dynamic timer patch

Yes. /saves/, nincfg.bin and the IPLs all have to go on the same drive as the games.

Is there any way to get the newer DS4 revision working (the one that comes with PS4 Slim/Pro)?
I've copied the controller ini for the original DS4 from the controllers.zip archive, renamed it to controller.ini, put it into the root folder of my USB HDD that I use to load games off of, but it doesn't work - games simply ignore the controller.
I have changed the PID in the controller.ini to match the one I got from plugging DS4 into my computer via USB (the VID is, as expected, the same).

Has anyone tried this yet?
