Could you add the ability to add symbols that aren't found on normal keyboards without finding them somewhere

Best example I can come up with rn is this name

For the Options Editor (sound especially)

I found, in the code:

CB_SoundType.Items.AddRange(new[] {"Mono", "Stereo", "Earphone2", "Earphone3"});

Found only 2 Earphon, but In-Game, I see: (Casque = Earphone)
Mono
Casque 1
Casque 2
Casque 3

I don't have Stereo, so what?

Red and Blue have "Mono", and "Stereo.".

Yellow has "Mono", "Earphone1", "Earphone2", "Earphone3".

I went with what seemed like the best idea -- Mono/Stereo, and then the other two Earphones for yellow users.

Ok, so I keep the translation with:
CB_SoundType.Items.AddRange(new[] {"Mono", "Stéréo", "Casque 2", "Casque 3"});

Thanks

One more time. You have made an awesome work @SciresM
I would say that this is the simpliest and of course the best 1gen edition tool.

I have tried it with my pokemon yellow and it works like a charm. I only found some little bugs during the edition of my party when I edited the first pokemon of my team and then I selected the third one, the program didn't load the moveset of the third one. It showed the moveset of the first one.
Although I don't know what you have to do exactly to reproduce the error.

I've found a bit of a bug, even tough I still need to figure out what triggered it.
My SD card died and with it a dozen hours of pkmn yellow gameplay, so I tried using Rhydon to at least recover my caught pokémon, badges etc.
However, after creating about 6-7 pokémon, and doing some saving and loading this was the result: All my created pokémon were overwritten with the last pokémon I created:

Also:
The PP isn't correct for many of the moves.
All newly created pokémon seem to be of the fighting type if you check the save in a different save editor.

Do they actually work? I've never seen a stereo option in any R/B I've played!

And yup, "earphone" in Yellow is stereo; higher numbers represent lower volume!

Could you PM me the bad save file? I'd be happy to take a look at it and fix whatever buggy behavior Rhydon is exhibiting.

This is awesome, thanks for the tool!
Is there any chance that this could this be done in to a Homebrew(.3dsx) or .Cia editor? Like PkHex++ for example?

I've found a few more bugs.

The first one:
Unhandled exception when I try to fill up the PC storage. Adding the second to last item (HM03) is no problem, adding the last item is.
Workaround: put item in bag, and use ingame PC to store the last item.
I've added the error details in a file (bug2.txt).

Second bug:
Editing a pokémon doesn't change certain pokémon specific values. For example, I changed a Squirtle into a Blastoise, set it, edited it to a gloom and set it as a new pokémon. The result is that for example PikaSav sees the Gloom as a water type pokémon with an incorrect catchrate.
If you view the stats ingame, the gloom does appear as a Grass/Poison type. I will have to test whether it has an effect on combat or not.
It's probably not so good for the pokémon's validity, which might cause an issue if anyone wants to sent these pokémon through the pokébank in the future. (I suppose one could simply generate the pokémon for a new game instead).

Third "bug", not so bad this one:
PP for the moves are incorrect, resulting in the following:
Rhyden PP bug.JPG
Simply fixed by healing the pokémon.
