hello retro. I bought a nintendo dsi last week, and it came with a R4, (please see the picture). the website does not works anymore. i am new to the ds world, i have tried the tutorial, but the r4 still doenst work, when i turn my ds on with the r4 in it appears an image that says : please hold the power button. can you help me? sorry for the english

What is the website that is written on the front of your cart please? If there is no website written on the front, then can you please upload your carts original kernel and PM me the link.

If you are getting the "An error has occurred..." then my updates will not fix firmware issues.

i bought this card a few days ago and its giving me nothing but problems. i tried a gazillion Kernels and such but its the same thing every time. The 3DS has the firmware 10.3.0-28E.
Any help is appreciated

No kernel will fix your problem, sorry.
Your cart is not compatable with your 3DS firmware, which is why you always get the "An error has occurred..."
You might be able to use flashcarttimewarp but you will either need a Gateway or CFW on your 3DS to install the .cia

Use the R4-Clone YSMenu folder from my Multi Cart Updates and the DAT folder from my DAT updates.
No kernel will fix your problem, sorry.

Well isn't that great?! I have no clue about a CFW on a 3DS.
Can i put a CFW on my 3DS with that firmware?
You're in luck! DON'T UPGRADE YOUR 3DS! Go to the 3DS section and look for a tutorial that'll show you how to downgrade your 3DS and install CFW.

Ok, that means you can't use YSMenu as a Primary kernel then.

I have an R4i KING 3DS, the websiute at the bottom of the flash cart r4-king.com no longer works, any idea what kernel i would need to get it to run, also my 3DS is firmware 9.9.0-26E , but i need to update it asap at my Smash Bros cart wont save without updating it online ):

Hello, I am trying to get this card (works with DS Lite not DSi XL) to play some games for my son that are getting an error 4 message. Most games work, some pokemon ones do not. I have spent days looking and finally found this website. Can anyone help me? The card came with the console. I am specifically having trouble with Pokemon white/black and heartgold/soulsilver on the DS Lite as this card does not work on the DSi XL with the last firmware they released for it.

ALWAYS BACKUP your µSD to a backup folder on your PC BEFORE formatting!!!
Format your µSD with the Panasonic SDFormatter
Use these options to format : FORMAT TYPE : FULL (OverWrite). FORMAT SIZE ADJUSTMENT : ON
Then extract the download above to your PC and copy the contents of the www.r4i-ndsill.com folder to the root of your µSD
