I'm having an issue, I used to be able to download custom banners using USB Loader GX just fine, I didn't change any settings or anything, but one day it just stopped working, like it would say it can't find the files, but I looked them up on here and I found all of the ones that were missing, so I know they exist, I even tried to delete one I had already downloaded to see if it would reinstall it, it didn't, so I don't really understand what the issue it

alright, I'm going to admit I'm a total noob at this stuff, and I don't know a lot of the jargon, so.. how do I do? do I just put my sd card in the computer and copy that link into the correct location? if so, that would be.. where? I'm in apps/usbloadergx but I don't see Global Settings, there's GXGameSettings, GXGameStatistics, and GXGlobal, I'm going to guess it's GXGlobal, so do I open that with.. notepad? there's a very long list of what looks almost like complete nonsense, but I understand it enough that I know kinda what it's doing, so where exactly do I put the link? do I replace the old one with it? which one is the old one? sorry I'm such a pain but I'm very new and very confused

I do also have WiiFlow, and I opened wiiflow ini, but.. again, same issue, idk where to put it

update your GX to latest 1053 (check Cyan sig)
then launch GX and select banner view from the toolbar on top
select GC mode by clicking source icon
press 1 (or 2 maybe, I can't recall) and the cover/banner download menu will pop up
select custom banners and download

if you get errors then you need to update the url in your setting file, but Cyan should have done that already,
so just delete the setting files from your /apps/usbloader-gx folder and you should be fine

ok.. so USB Loader had an update and I can't download custom banners anymore, and the link isn't the problem cause in my global settings it's still http://nintendont.gxarena.com/banners/

GX is having download isuues
Also the server that hosts the files is acting weird for some users
try wiiflow mods in my sig to update the banners, you can use same custom banner path as the one specified in GX or vice versa

well WiiFlow seems to have no issues downloading the banners, but I prefer using GX, so do I just wait until they fix it themselves, I guess?

you can copy the *.bnr files to GX custom banners folder or edit GX global config file to make it point to wiiflow custom banner folder path

I've download a wad in your source. But i'm stuck at the part where u need nintendont autoboot.dol. Actually i only have a boot.dol.
My games are from usb
My nintendont on sd card.
The game i wish is Mario party 5 on wii menu.
Any help? Thanks alot and nice guide, just discovered and its amazing!
Note : I saw your masterpiece collection, can i install over my current apps if i format sd, or i should format wii etc?

boot.dol in my sig is not game specific, you need to compile the autoboot dol using this guide:

ok.. so how do I do that? I also can't seem to find the folder the custom banners for GX is stored

Edit: nevermind I found it, but could you still tell me how to direct it to the WiiFlow one?

Edit 2: also when I transfer the .bnr files is seems to cut and paste rather than copy paste, which means I have to download them with WiiFlow, take the SD card out and transfter them through the computer, then download them in WiiFlow again... kinda annoying to do
