So, silly question probably, but any updates on the possibility of being able to downgrade firmware?

Googled it extensively, doesn't really seem like there's anything viable (unless I had a nand dump and a spare motherboard...). I wasn't paying attention and updated mine when I was drunk >_<

Don't suppose there's any way to play my homebrewed PS1->PSP and/or PS1 .isos on 3.18? XD

No way to downgrade firmware.

I heard there may be a way to exploit 3.15 soon, but no news on 3.18.

Check wololo.net for news.

Is it possible to borrow someone's v3.10 or lower vita to transfer an exploitable game from a ps3 to a vita TV?

No, since the Vita and the PS3 has to be using the same account. If you reset that Vita to download your account the Vita will force you to update before you can change account. You can't transfer games between accounts. However if you already do have an exploitable game on your Vita and are using the same account on your PS3 and Vita TV you should be able to transfer the game between them. But that only works if your Vita TV actually has the right firmware for the hack.

August 31st 2014: Total Noob has released TN-V10. Changes in this version are as follows:

Added CSPSP Online Multiplayer support! COME ONLINE BUDDIES!

- Added homebrew sorter feature support in PSPFiler.

- Added TN Savestate plugin support with PS1 games using PEOPS SPU plugin.

- Added ‘SELECT button’ in recovery menu. Now you can either open the VSH menu or the recovery menu by pressing SELECT in the XMB.
- Added ‘Suspend device’ and ‘Restart VSH’ to recovery menu.

- Added ‘Reset TN-V settings’ in recovery menu (Advanced ->).

- Removed March33 and Sony NP9660 ISO drivers. The default ISO driver is now Inferno Driver.

Updating is done as usual through the XMB update feature.

There is no TN-V exploit as of 3.18 I am afraid. Register on Wololo and keep your eyes out for another TN-V ninja release.

done that a while back... just need to become more a regular member so that i get info too.

plus im waiting for the vHBL so i can use homebrew... i have a PSP so no need for TN-V.

Why was the M33 and NP9660 drivers removed? I would understand removing the first one, but the second one is official sony driver! Am I missing something here?

I'm guessing that Total_Noob just decided to go with the Inferno driver since that's all you'll need for now. I've never had any problems with using the inferno driver for any games thus far.

I guess I understand that it would be freeing some memory, but again I don't get why not keep sony's driver? Guess I'm feeling nostalgic lol

Question:

I have a 3.01 Vita with the king of pools exploit, backed up through openCMA and all.
I have a new vita on 3.01, obviously not activated since its new and cant log in unless an update.

I guess my question is, do I have anyway to activate the system, and thus install the exploit I already have? or am I out of luck?

Thanks!

Arizato, kinda waiting for a reply if you have the time lol :D

U should be able to transfer the game and activate the system as long as u have ur account backed up thru CMA....

I'm guessing ur not using the same memory card for both right?

As your account is tied to the memory card itself meaning u could use it on the second Vita to load the exploit

Thanks for the reply!

The content of the second of the second memory stick (inserted in the new vita) which is obviously tied to my first vita account as you said.

Now for this content to work (and therefore the exploit), I need to activate the new vita. But in order to do that I would have to update the vita to activate the system, hence the problem.

So how can I activate it since I am on a lower firmware, and can't connect to psn because of that?
