Hardware Future PC Build Help

Hey everybody. I have a few questions about a PC which I will be building in the near future. After using this site for months with help on homebrew, etc, and always seeing great help, I decided to finally make an account and ask for help on here.

So I've been looking at custom PC builds for a while now, as I've been needing a good computer for a long time. I've come across a couple over on Gamers Nexus, and was wondering if either of them would be sufficient enough to run gamecube/wii games at full speed with the dolphin emulator at 1080p.

I've also heard that Intel works better with emulators than AMD, so if needed, would this make either build powerful enough?

I'd honestly rather not spend the extra money, though I want a dedicated video card, so I would need one for the Titanfall one anyways.

for emulaters like dolphin and pcsx2 ..Intel i5 4670k is currently the best processor and even a GPU like gtx 750 can handle them. But for PC gaming gtx 760/770 seems the bang for the buck.

Intel is hands down the best choice for emulators.
As you might know you'd need a completely separate motherboard so it's not really as simple as just buying an i5.

If you can provide a price range that would be great.
This is about $100 more than the build you posted, should run great.

For low budgets, you can't go wrong with AMD + Radeon

Thanks for the help guys! I'd like to keep my price range around $500-600 considering I still need a monitor, but as long as it can run the emulator at 1080p, and I manage to land a summer job, I'd probably go up to $800-900. Also, just wondering, in that list you gave me was an i3 processor. The i5 is only $50 more, would that be worth it?

I3 to i5 is effectively dual core with HT against true quad core. i5 can handle threaded tasks much better. Plus clock speed boosts.
