Without freeshop I can't get my fix of obscure Japanese games
I'll treasure the stuff I got, but I miss really bad looking for new obscure games

I got a really fun dragon quest X game I never saw anyone talking about, you take pics and you get a monster based on the face you shot and then you battle using a team of 4 summoned monsters

As I own a number a number of 3DSs I intend to add microSD support to all of my o3DSs, I am very interested in doing basically every thing on TurdPooChargers thread https://gbatemp.net/threads/practical-semi-hardmods-for-the-new-3ds.495917/ expansion of the ram via hardmodding, its getting towards the end of the 3DS lifespan after the last few updates I don't see them doing any major changes in the future so lets get out a soldering iron and a file and lets go crazy like why not wire a Raspberry Pi to one of the dam things im open for any suggestions/ideas as to such also

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    @SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM

    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
