You can already with the recent Version. Set Sram saving as the save type and you are good to go.Waiting as well. I'd love to run Pokemon Ruby as a VC.
No you can't... your save gets deleted if you use SRAM in the Injector; however, the New Super Ultimate Injector fixes this issue. You have to get it PM'd to you. You are right. Sram saving does delete your save file. You need to set FLASH (512 kbit) as the save type, to enable saving. So then, I'd need to set FLASH 512kb as the save type to get Emerald (which is pretty much Ruby) to work? You are right. Sram saving does delete your save file. You need to set FLASH (512 kbit) as the save type, to enable saving. I used Pokemon Ruby (E) Version.
If you’re referring to the Ultimate GBA injector, this will not work unless you apply an IPS patch to The Pokémon games. Your savefile will definitely be gone after the Elite Four. If you’re referring to the NSUI, then that’s another story. The new Injector fixes this issue by allowing the 1M saves to work. You have to get that Injector PM’d by @Asdolo but he doesn’t seem to be sending them anymore! I sure wish I could give it a try thoughYes, FLASH 512kbyte should work since it is the default setting. I will point this more out in the wiki.
I never really played very long into the game. Sad to hear that the game deletes the save files after investing so much time to reach the Elite Four..If you’re referring to the Ultimate GBA injector, this will not work unless you apply an IPS patch to The Pokémon games. I know right... at least this is solved with the NSUI that is in beta. Hopefully we’ll get is soon!I never really played very long into the game. Sad to hear that the game deletes the save files after investing so much time to reach the Elite Four..
I tried the default originally, and it just loads to a white screen, after showing the "Sleep mode will not work" warning on the bottom screen.Yes, FLASH 512kbyte should work since it is the default setting. I will point this more out in the wiki.
What's the IPS patch? I click it, and it just loads to a file select, but not sure where to get that patch. I wonder if anyone else that received it from him would be willing to share, if he's not around anymore? Credit obviously goes to the OP, though. If you’re referring to the Ultimate GBA injector, this will not work unless you apply an IPS patch to The Pokémon games. Hm.. Strange. I´m not sure if i have an answer for that. All i know is it worked on my Pokemon Emerald (U) build.I tried the default originally, and it just loads to a white screen, after showing the "Sleep mode will not work" warning on the bottom screen.
I’d have to hunt for the patch. Someone realesed it on GBAtemp. It was only created for Emerald. Someone made the patch in order to change Emerald’s save to 512kb so that it would save properly on VC without deleting the save post hall of fame. This patching isn’t necessary with the NSUI that Asdolo is teasing though.I tried the default originally, and it just loads to a white screen, after showing the "Sleep mode will not work" warning on the bottom screen.
