Well yea that would be great but is the one i can get right now (for 60$). So no other way?

So no other way to update?
There's no other way to directly update to 11.3. You could cart update, but you can't use soundhax after a cart update from 3.0.0-6. You're kinda out of luck unless you buy the compatible flashcard listed on 3ds.guide.

Don't follow video guides. Avoid YouTube like the plague when it comes to 3Ds tutorials. You would need a way to install CIAs on 3.0.0-6 to get 3DNUS to work. You could try it, but it's an outdated method and not recommended.

Ok then. Would cart update to 4.1 - 4.5 work?

Yes - not sure if the browser method would work. If not you'd need to buy a DS flashcart to either use the MSET method or ntrboot. You would be out the price of a game and possibly the price of a DS flashcart then.

Thanks! So the best way is just get a compatible flashcard/hardmod and update from 3.0.0?

Ok then! Thanks again.

One more thing, 3ds.guide says that some flashcard are not compatible depending of the version of the 3ds. Any way to know if the ones i can get on my country would work on 3.0.0?
You should get your card from nds-card.com as they are GBAtemp's sponsor and they are 100% trusted. 3ds.guide lists which card works on what firmware, so based on that, you should know which one to get.

Again, thanks both you guys for all the help. Thing is im not from USA so is kinda hard to get those cards and could take a couple weeks/months.

One more thing, im reading on 3ds.guide a method with a flashcard compatible with a DS (a friend has a DS with a flashcard, i imagine that compatible means that works and can play games on it) so if i can get a ds and a flashcard that works on it would i be good to go?

Compatible, in this case, means that your flashcard has been confirmed to work with the method (ntrboothax or MSET or whatever) you end up doing. All you need is the flashcard it says to get.

Just got a 2ds XL on 11.4. I have an Acekard and an old 3ds with Lumi. Should I do the 11.4 ntrboot or upgrade to 11.6 and do the DSIware?

If the Acekard works do that. You won't have to worry about data moving where you don't want it and won't have to pay $2 for the DSiWare game.

Thanks. Is there a fast way to basically copy everything (games, saves, etc) from the old one to the new one? In fact, if I could just use the old 3ds' SD for the new one, that would be perfect (it's a micro in an adapter).

No, you have to system transfer. You may as well do DSiWare hax in this case since it includes a system transfer. You'll have to back up the tickets on the source and reinstall them on the target after it has CFW (so the games show up again).

Hell not sure what was going on but for like a few weeks MP3's sounded muffled, some driver or Windows update fixed it. Thank god lol

I'd sooner buy the Meze 109 Pro if I was dropping that much on headphones. I don't even like buds/IEMs

I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro

I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200

My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    how is wireless charging possible?

    Copper conducting electricity or something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device
