I think the guide to building on Windows is out of date. I've tried many different times on different computers.

https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/wiki/Building-For-Windows

From the CMake error log
fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'pthread.h': No such file or directory [C:\Users\Jamie\Source\Repos\citra\build\CMakeFiles\CMakeTmp\cmTC_0db20.vcxproj]

The only thing I did differently from the guide was use VS's built in Git instead of that other program.

I just did a clean go-through without any issue. Make sure that
- you are using the latest version of CMake
- you cloned citra repo recursively (clone command with "--recursive" added), and used command "git submodule update --init --recursive" to make sure all submodule is in sync
- Chose `Visual Studio 15 2017 Win64` in cmake
- When encountering the first cmake error, found the CITRA_USE_BUNDLED_SDL2 and CITRA_USE_BUNDLED_QT options on the list and checked their respective checkboxes.

i think he is trying to build for mingw, b'cause pthread does not exist on windows, and cmake should not search for pthread if the generator is VC. if he wants gcc, @jamieyello should first setup msys according to the wiki, and run msys cmake according to the wiki, not windows cmake, as pthread does not exist on windows

Can anyone perhaps help me? I dumped the Urban Trial freestyle 2 .cia with Decrypt9WIP (decrypted) and converted it to .3ds (I found a thread tutorial some mins ago but can't find it now to link it here.. sorry for that.

And this it the tool I used to convert .cia (decrypted) to .3ds I used option 3 to enter the converters menu and then 6 to Start CIA to 3DS Converter
The cause is your computer's OpenGL.

Ugh. So no game will work? Is there anything I can do to "fix" or solve this problem?
If you tell us your specs, I think we can fix it out.

But if these kind of error exist, I rather switch to my NVIDIA GPU to run the emulator and it works. Anyways, switching from CPU to GPU is not always the answer though. It depends on how good is your specs.

An entire afternoon wasted when all I had to do was choose "Visual Studio 2017 Win64". I kept selecting "Visual Studio 2017".

It's always the dumbest things for me.

Could a Cita dev point me in the right direction of how i can find out whats been merged each week in CitraBE?. I want to make some Citra videos showing the improvements each month kinda like the Cemu videos that do be going around.
But i dont have a clue whats been merged into the bleeding edge build most of the time. I guess i could use the Citra monthly progress reports and turn them into a video format would that be ok?.

yeah I was wondering how to get the citra-qt.ini working in the bleeding edge builds. I know you can modify it to use full screen with the nightly builds, but I'm not sure how to go about getting full screen with the bleeding edge builds..

found this but un-tested yet, buy hay why he wrote it lol..

https://github.com/citra-emu/citra/commit/28d0a6c624b480cb286044003c44d603432faf0c

EDIT: na just full screen flickers for me, but had this issue with other emus be four on full screen turn out I need Wide screen to fix it with 32inch screen.
So yes 16.9

Incredible progress has been made since I last tested this emulator for my Pokemon Moon. I used to barely get 12-15fps, now I'm running it at 25-30FPS most of the time with minor graphical issues and audio issues.

Citra dev team—you guys rock!

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

sometimes I wonder why anyone would ever buy mega man x legacy collection 2

I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
