3DS 11.4 Firmware Update Available

0hnqi7q.png

Just today, Nintendo 3DS firmware 11.4.0-37 has been released. I saw no other posts on this so far, so I am posting it. Here is what I found so far has been either temporarily or permanently broken/patched.

BootNTR Selector: Working with latest version (2.7.3)

UDSploit: Patched

Soundhax: Patched (Finally Nintendo... Lmao)

Safehax: Doesn't work without UDSploit, so therefore broken.

11.4.0-37 fixes the slowdown bug for some games like OOT3D that 11.3.0-36 has introduced. Confirmed by @Feffe

Please let me know if anything else got patched. Yes, of course, if you have A9LH+Luma3DS, you can safely update.

the guide doesn't have sd card less already? I personally had to update. I was on a9lh v1. my old 3ds is still on that hoping that gateway fixes this issue with 11.3 which I'm also on. I forgot to make a NAND backup of 11.2.
SDless works on both v3 and v4 data input. I think v4 just allows for more space.

yes, I found that option after posting. u have to select the NAND and press A. then, u'll be given the menu. restoring (safe) is what u want to keep a9lh. I'm not sure if there's an alternative to that. that's y I liked hourglass more. there was/is no alternative. u keep a9lh no matter what when restoring.

so, how do I make my a9hl work without sdcard? there is no "update a9hl" option in my FBI

u need to follow the guide to update a9lh. to update a9lh, u have to copy and paste the arm9loaderhax. I just updated in case I hadn't already (couldn't remember), and I was able to stop before the portion with copying a9lh to my ctrNAND since I already had the latest copied there as well as my sd card.

I think you're confusing updating a9lh with updating Luma3DS. fenderjaguar posted a link to updating a9lh. When you copy the new arm9loaderhax.bin to your SD card is updating your Luma3DS.

yeah, the guide shows how put the arm9loaderhax.bin in the ctrNAND, at this point:

Section IV - CTRNAND Luma3DS
  1. Reboot holding (Start) during boot to launch the Luma3DS chainloader menu
  2. Launch GodMode9 by pressing (A)
  3. Navigate to [0:] SDCARD
  4. Press (Y) on arm9loaderhax.bin to copy it
  5. Press (B) to return to the main menu
  6. Navigate to [1:] SYSNAND CTRNAND
  7. Press (Y) to paste arm9loaderhax.bin
  8. Select “Copy path(s)”
    • Overwrite any existing arm9loaderhax.bin if prompted
  9. Press (A) to unlock SysNAND (lvl1) writing, then input the key combo given
  10. Press (B) to return to the main menu
  11. Hold (R) and press (B) at the same time to eject your SD card
  12. Remove your SD card from your device
  13. Press (Start) to reboot your device with your SD card removed
    • Booting your device at least once with your SD card removed will allow you to configure the CTRNAND based Luma3DS installation
  14. Use the (A) button and the D-Pad to turn on the following:
    • “Show NAND or user string in System Settings”
  15. Reinsert your SD card into your device
  16. Press (Start) to save and reboot

Just follow the guide step by step, if you don't know what to do, read the guide again to make sure you didn't skip a step. It's really not all that hard if you follow directions and make sure you're able to do it.

eyy guys im on 11.4.0.37u any chance of free games im broke af.
If someone buys them for you, then yes.
Plus isn't it better to not buy a system and then try to pirate on it if you don't know what you're doing? Especially if you're broke?

I really hope HANS and the other homebrew applications get fixed soon. I miss my hacks. Do you know if anybody is working on fixing them? I know I screwed myself by not getting CFW when I had the chance and as far as I know, there is no working CFW on 11.4. I don't know if that will change though.

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking. Come to find out the bike uses a 6 volt battery and the guy had the charger set to 12v. I said sorry to the dude and walked away. I felt bad for him tho.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
He ruined it basically. Sad cause it was a decent old bike. It would take more money to rewire the bike than it was worth tho.
