its their damn right to force an update every 5 minutes if they want to and considering what happened to every other firmware reliant console over the years, i wouldn't even be mad if they did
You're comparing a server sending a signal to users to log off, to a real life circuit board getting the signal to block a SD card readerthe thing with wc3, is that blizzard installed a program on their server, called Warden, it would send a signal to everyone logged on their server every few minutes and warcraft was sending it back, but bots werent, so they were disconnected
This. You're comparing a server sending a signal to users to log off, to a real life circuit board getting the signal to block a SD card reader
Shut the fuck up. You actually don't know what you are talking about.
lol dont get madYou're comparing a server sending a signal to users to log off, to a real life circuit board getting the signal to block a SD card reader
Shut the fuck up. You actually don't know what you are talking about.
They cant. It would be a dumb system, be WAY too hard to implement, and would probably slow down the console even more.lol dont get mad
i never said i knew what i wqas talking about
read my first post, i was asking if it was possible, if they could do that
Nolol dont get mad
i never said i knew what i wqas talking about

Wasnt on it but it gets setup the same.seems like you werent on wc3 scene when warden was setup
it really was signal, not a timeout, because you could idle for hours on battle.net (wc3 online) without getting kicked out. But if it was a bot, you got kicked after less than two minutes
as i said, it was a signalWasnt on it but it gets setup the same.
There are codes for bots and they look for that input code.
Same thing on destiny. People where rubber banding the controls down to rack up points over night.
This stop the time out. Once they saw this they change there code and made updates that look for un human plan and will send you a message telling you to press a button to keep playing.
Either way Nintendo would never do anything like this. No company would. It would kill the sytem
If there were an update every time I'd turn the Switch on, I'd keep the system offline.its their damn right to force an update every 5 minutes if they want to and considering what happened to every other firmware reliant console over the years, i wouldn't even be mad if they did
Nobody would buy it, it would flop.If there were an update every time I'd turn the Switch on, I'd keep the system offline.
haven't you heard? it's going to have hax day one according to thePeople are still worrying about what Nintendo will do to block hacking by forcing a day one update ad nauseum?
and if the update is on the games card what than?Just turn off the network.
haven't you heard? it's going to have hax day one according to theidiotsgenius's from the 3ds section
oh yeah fuck thatRemember the Vita?
Remember how you couldn't swap out Vita memory cards without having to update?
Whoever pays for this is a dumbass."Please Note: An update via an internet connection is required to use microSDXC Memory Cards."
What, having a day 1 update to add important features they couldn't ship it with? If they didn't support sdXC the backlash would be even more, whats wrong with just 1 update?Whoever pays for this is a dumbass.
