Yes.Just making sure I got this right: I need to redo everything in the arm9loaderhax installation section and ONLY that? That's what I'm gathering from you guys.

what? no more soundhax? how can we follow the guide if it keeps changing? lolThe actual version of the guide that uses only fasthax and direct CTRNand transfer was posted on January 2017. This very month.

If you're already on firmware version 2.1, yes. YES.
Soundhax and fasthax. Whatever.what? no more soundhax? how can we follow the guide if it keeps changing? lol
Soundhax and fasthax aren't mutually exclusive; they're designed for different purposes and achieve different goals in different ways.what? no more soundhax? how can we follow the guide if it keeps changing? lol
From the stage you are at [on 2.1] the procedure has been pretty much the same for past ~year [since SafeA9lhInstaller was released] with the methods to get down to 2.1 being what's changed [made safer *and much faster].is that when this guide was posted? or did u use a different guide?

Patience, young padawan. You will soon learn the way of the smeaI got all the files back on my SD card BUT IT'S NOT GONNA HELP THE FACT THAT WHEN I POWER ON MY 3DS WITH THE SD CARD IN I GET A BLACK SCREEN.
That's not helping either :/Patience, young padawan. You will soon learn the way of the smea
I think i will wait until nintendo releases 11.3 and see if everybody floods the forums saying their 3ds stopped working after they update.Soundhax and fasthax. Whatever.
take out the sd card and blow on it and put it back in.I got all the files back on my SD card BUT IT'S NOT GONNA HELP THE FACT THAT WHEN I POWER ON MY 3DS WITH THE SD CARD IN I GET A BLACK SCREEN.
Does your 3DS' blue light turn on, then shut off? Or does it stay on with a black screen? Try turning it on without the SD card in, or try another SD card. If you've already installed A9LH, confirm that you actually have arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of your SD card.I got all the files back on my SD card BUT IT'S NOT GONNA HELP THE FACT THAT WHEN I POWER ON MY 3DS WITH THE SD CARD IN I GET A BLACK SCREEN.
Time to bring out the powers from the 80's and 90's.I think i will wait until nintendo releases 11.3 and see if everybody floods the forums saying their 3ds stopped working after they update.
take out the sd card and blow on it and put it back in.
Sorry, I go all caps when I'm nervous.Does your 3DS' blue light turn on, then shut off? Or does it stay on with a black screen? Have you tried holding select on boot? Confirm that you actually have arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of your SD card, and try another SD card if that still doesn't work.
Also, don't type in all caps like that; it doesn't make people more likely to help you.
Turn on the console WITHOUT the SD card in, then put it back in after it's already in the home menu.I got all the files back on my SD card BUT IT'S NOT GONNA HELP THE FACT THAT WHEN I POWER ON MY 3DS WITH THE SD CARD IN I GET A BLACK SCREEN.
That's already covered by the guide, just put the sdcard in after powering onI got all the files back on my SD card BUT IT'S NOT GONNA HELP THE FACT THAT WHEN I POWER ON MY 3DS WITH THE SD CARD IN I GET A BLACK SCREEN.
The 3DS won't stop working after any new update Nintendo releases.I think i will wait until nintendo releases 11.3 and see if everybody floods the forums saying their 3ds stopped working after they update.
take out the sd card and blow on it and put it back in.
While it's very likely that no new update will make a 3DS with A9LH 'stop working' (or otherwise remove A9LH), you simply can't claim that it won't ever happen. We just don't know. The 3DS won't stop working after any new update Nintendo releases.
I'd love to know how you came up with this number.(which is less than 0.0001% possible)
I just made it up.While it's very likely that no new update will make a 3DS with A9LH 'stop working' (or otherwise remove A9LH), you simply can't claim that it won't ever happen. We just don't know.

If it's your opinion then don't frame it as an empirical claim or objective fact.I just made it up.
My opinion is that it's very hard for NIntendo to brick consoles with A9LH installed.
I repeat. MY opinion. Not a fact, nor something that matters.
You should delete the whole folder (maybe back it up to your computer as well) for your home menu extdata.I'm gonna delete the extdata of my home menu to see if that helps, do i delete the entire folder or all the .files inside?
I never said it was a fact. Nor that I read it somewhere else.If it's your opinion then don't frame it as an empirical claim or objective fact.
