Hi Googie. What's up how you doing. Got word of you through GamerzCorp, and wanted to check out what you do. Love what you guys are doing. Whatever you do with your mods, make sure Goku is always there. Guys love Dragon Ball Z like girls love Disney. I couldn't download your modpack eu. Did you remove it??? I must agree with Zezzo on getting a different picture on your site. I think we should all be responsible about our own and minds and people that fall under our responsibility. I really like the picture, but that is the problem. We are all thinking to free, without worrying about the consequences it might lead to. Much love in any case. Yours trully, Guru ...

The Goku mod is DEFINITELY on the list for the next version of the mod pack. However, due to my extremely limited "free time" as of late, modding on all fronts has come to a halt. Kind of hard to put the time and care I usually do into making mods when I'm working 60+ hours a week, but rest assured that I have every intention of finishing what I started.
Among other things, the web-launcher I created will be getting an overhaul. I plan on creating several different themed versions of it, featuring different character art. They'll all function the same, so it's just a matter of picking the theme you like the most. Some of my planned themes include Rosalina, Smash Bros, and Link (just to name a few.) I might even do custom ones for people, but I might have to see if that's feasible. Maybe handle like commissions or something, since it's technically web design work at that point.
As for your question about the European version of the mod pack, I'd check in with @LordDakor. He handles the EU version, and as I don't have a EU Wii U console, I'm kinda at his mercy for testing that version of the mod pack (which he also hosts.)
Anyhow, I appreciate the input. Really hoping I'll be able to get back to work on the modpack once work gets a little less hectic for me.
Sorry guys for any confusion about the EU version. I had to re-upload them on Mega. Use these links instead. I'm sure @googie will update the EU links on the main page shortly.
By the way, I have created a SmashU Region converter. You can convert any US unpacked modpacks to EU. In the next update, you will be able to convert any US packed modpack to EU.

question, i have really no idea how i did it but i merged most of your stuff with my own mods xD , i think what i did was , i just dragged the figher folders ontop of my sm4shexplorer data<
i would like to know how i can load up your music , because lately it just wont be recognized :l
but when i downloaded from the custom track music website, my own tracks load up fine, they replace the original songs btw.
so how can i add yours .. ?
simply copying the songs from bgm folder of yours into my sd /bgm wont load them up , any idea how i can make them work please?

Mine are all added as additional songs, so you'll need to start with my SmashMusic config and then add your own stuff. I've attached the file you'll need to properly do that.
It's a WIP one from my updated build I'm working on, so a couple songs may be missing... Or some may be added that aren't actually in the current version of the modpack - you'll know it when you'll see it because the audio will just not work for those songs.

Yes, eventually. It's hard to make progress though, between my job and my own business, I don't have a ton of time. Like a lot of other devs and programmers on here, this kinda stuff is always gonna take a backseat to my actual work...
Also, Fall game releases got me glued to my Xbox and Wii U. The music pack is going to be updated first, and then I'll get back to organizing/fixing the costumes. I'm hoping someone will crack the mystery of adding additional stages before then, because I want to include all these cool stage mods... But I don't want to replace any of the current ones.
Probably not gonna change the GUI, since that's kind of an iffy area with a lot of people (also, it's easy for to just add in whatever one you want if you download the "workspace" folder from Github) but I can definitely look into those skins. Just sort of figured out adding additional slots for Samus, but issues with her gun still pop up...
Hopefully by the end of the 4th of July weekend there willll be a good chunk of skins added, and I'll update the download.
@googie hey ! bro, i tried it out , the ui sound db bin,
unfortunately it messed things up , the songs worked 0_0 but not all i think, and umm the text disappeared, the titles of the songs, nearly all of them were blank.
do you know why this happened? i have had your songs in the workspace/content/sound/bgm folder< and then i just put your sound ui db bin over to data of my region's param/ui.
it looked like it was already modded on mine, i have no idea why, so i first disabled the mod from it and replaced it with yours.
your songs used to work really fine for me, but i dont know how it messed up x_x.
hi please add goku ,yoshi wolly ,wolf, ray man, young link and ken ,they all exist I have them in another pack but I want them in yours and dont know how to mix them
Link leads to Github, which contains the download links for the "Full Pack" and the "Music Only Pack." Be sure to download the version made for your region!
Installation is simple. Just copy the "patch" and "sound" folders into the "0005000010144F00" folder on your SD card, and load them up using SD Cafiine.
About the Mod Pack:
This collection features character, stage, and music modifications made by many members of the Super Smash Bros. modding community.
The purpose of this mod pack is to expand the experience of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, as well as showcase some of the best work of the Super Smash Bros. modding community. To that end, this mod pack does not replace any content in the base game or DLC. All new costumes, songs, and stages are added as additional slots, as to not undo any of original game. Furthermore, nothing has been done to change balance of the game - all characters will retain their move sets as of the most recent official patch.
The first release of the mod pack focuses on additional music, and includes over 250 additional songs. While I did include a generous amount of additional costumes, the custom costume scene is still young. The quality and stability of mods was key to their inclusion, so at this time there are not as many in my mod pack as you will see in some other packs out there. In the future, I plan to added many more costumes as the scene continues to grow, and the mods become more stable.
It is my hope that this mod pack makes it easier for people hoping to delve into the world of Sm4sh mods. Everything in this pack is intended to be the highest-quality, and easy to use. I've also left the Github Repository for this mod pack open to cloning, in case anyone wants to incorporate these mods into their own personal builds.
Additional Music:
When adding new music, I really tried hard not to let my bias get in the way, otherwise Moon from DuckTales Remastered would be on EVERY STAGE... I wanted to add songs that I felt fit well with a stage. I also aimed to add songs that should have been put in, in the first place (One-Winged Angel on Midgar, anyone?)
There are currently over 260 additional songs in this mod pack. For those interested in just custom music, I have made a "Music Only" version of the modpack, available here.

Future Plans:
While I plan to continually update the pack as new skins come out, the direction I take on adding more music depends on the feedback I get.
I'll go into more detail at a later time, but I have a few "themed" booster packs that I will add in. The order that they are implemented, however, will be voted on by YOU GUYS! Exciting!
I am also open to suggestions for additional content. Mind you, I won't take every suggestion sent my way, but I do take suggestions to heart and do my best to implement them if they fit in with the goals of the project.
Other Stuff:
This mod pack is open source, meaning anyone can download the base files and create their own mod-pack with it. If you wish to use this modification pack, whether for game play enhancement or to include in your own mod pack, please be sure to keep the credits intact. Countless hours were put not just by those who had a direct hand in building this mod pack, but also by those who created the skins, stages, and music contained within. Giving credit where credit is due takes almost no effort!

Q: What region(s) does this work on?
A: As of 07/12/2016, the Googie Sm4sh Mod Pack now works on both US and EU versions of the game. HUGE shoutout to @LordDakor for porting the modpack to EU.
Q: What if I want to just have custom music?
A: Click the download link above, and select "Music Only Pack" from the list of download links for that release. Q: Are these mods Wi-Fi safe?
A: Mostly. Music and stages are all currently Wi-Fi Safe. Most characters are too, EXCEPT for model-swapped characters.
Q: Will using these mods get me banned?
A: They won't get you banned from online (as far as I know), but don't be a doofus and post screenshots on Miiverse to show off. Should you get banned, I take no responsibility. Modding is technically against the Big N's rules, so if they catch you and decide to punish you, that's on you.
Q: Why isn't this on (insert mod site)?
A: File size, and other reasons.
Q: Why isn't (insert song/skin/stage) in here?
A: If I didn't include something, the most likely reason is either that the mod is unfinished (missing icons, ect), I don't know about the mod, or the mod has bugs that make cause any number of issues. Or, I didn't implement it because it couldn't be added as additional content. (I won't be adding anything that requires me to REPLACE an existing skin/song/stage)
Q: Can you add (insert song here)?
A: Maybe! Fill out this form and I'll see what I can do!
Q: Can you add this (insert costume/stage here)?
A: That's a bit more tricky. I test every skin I include for stability, and the costume mods that get that far must have CSPs, Stock Icons, ect... If you know of any good skins though, or you want your work included, let me know!
Q: Does this mod unlock the DLC?
A: You should already own the DLC and game (either digital or physical) in order to get the complete experience from this mod pack. I cannot promise proper functionality if you are missing the DLC content.
Q: This mod pack sucks! You didn't include (insert song/skin/stage) and it doesn't play like Melee!
A: That's not a question, but to each their own. I can't please everyone, and this mod pack is just one of many out there. I encourage you to try them all and see what you like best, or to take what I've created and put your own spin on it.
Known Issues and Bugs:
Below is a list of known issues and bugs, which I am currently trying to sort out. If you have suggestions or fixes, please let me know!
Some custom costumes "overlap" each other in-game, resulting in mirror matches
Shadow doesn't have result screen portraits
Custom sounds on some characters cause their "original" sound counterparts to be silent in-battle
Stages with more than 20 songs cannot save "My Music" settings for songs 21-40
Credits:
I was originally going to include a long list of credits, but in the spirit of keeping this post from being a mile long, you can instead view the credits for this project on Github.
I do want to give a shout-out to a handful of special people:
LordDakor - Ported the mod pack to EU versions of the game. Also helped me solve the mystery of the "slow-ass CSS"

Sorry to disappoint those of you who might have been waiting for a new release, but here's the rub:
I've been planning on releasing a major update for a while now. And while I was making significant progress, it's been very difficult to focus on the mod work with all I've had going on outside of Sm4sh modding. Nothing bad, it's all good things - working full time, moving in with my fiance, ect. BUT! That, combined with playing through my ridiculous gaming backlog, (attempting) to start up a gaming channel on YouTube/Twitch, getting involved with the Sm4sh and UMVC3 tournament scenes, and all the other fun things that come being a college grad with disposable income, have left me with little time for things like Sm4sh mods.
I don't do things half-assed, and I don't feel like I'm able to devote the right amount of time to output quality work for you guys. Compounding that is that there are considerably more people outputting mod packs for Sm4sh than there ever were for Brawl, so I feel like there isn't really a need for my work when it seems like modding is a bit more accessible with this version of Smash.
TL;DR - I don't got time for this kinda stuff anymore!
I'll be keeping my mods available, and I'll check in once in a while to make sure the downloads are still up. However, don't expect any further updates or other support. Thanks to everyone who supported my work and I hope that someone will (if they haven't already) use this as a launchpad for a mod pack of their own. (After all, that was the whole point!)
I'll only be on here to check in with the various modding developments for Wii U and 3DS, but if anyone wants to stay in touch check out my Twitter. That's where any future stuff I've got going on will be.
