so, how do you use this? I dumped a game...all it does is throw the game in a directory on the memory card...I try to install it, it doesn't work.....
I'm dumping Gundam Ex Vs Force (I legally own the game and will not be distributing the resulting VPK), but it looks like after it dumps, it starts the game to read all the plugins it uses, and extracts/decrypts them.
Yeah most of my stuff is from china.

Most people who live in european, middle eastern, or hispanic countries speak English. In other countries such as South Korea, China, Japan they mostly speak their native tongue and very little english. The people who live in the asian countries don't use english software or english programs, they create their own.

I didn't said that all english speakers are arrogant about the translation topic (I speak at least a tiny bit english myself... [even if it is awfull faulty and on a kindergarden level]), no need to become agressive.
So it looks like the tool extracts the game's files, decrypts the eboot, modifies the eboot to read the modules externally and to load plugins in ux0:/plugins/, then puts all those files in ux0:/mai/<Game's TITLEID>/. You would need to then take the files inside of the game ID's folder, throw those into a VPK, and theoretically, it would install like a normal game. I'm testing with a small PSN game now.
Keep in mind that:
- After you chose to install the game (the second option on the main menu), the dump is REMOVED from your system (it likely moves it instead of copying)
- This may also delete your save games for the dumped game, when you choose to install it. Additional testing required, YMMV.

Successfully dumped and installed Taiko V Version (twice for good measure). Trying some other smaller games for now. There is also now an english translated version of the MaiDumpTool VPK on a certain subreddit if people don't want to use their phones to translate or the translation guide images from the first page.

Same thing I said on Reddit if by tonight no one dumps cyber sleuth with this tool I'll try dumping and testing my Asian import cyber sleuth.waiting for digimon release
