you know how when you play ds and gba games, they usually stretch a bit on the 3ds? and that you can hold the select button to force them back into their native, non blurry resolution?

i've been wondering if, using luma/a9hl, there was a way to switch that around? make the games use native resolution and stretch them when you hold start or select? its a minor thing, but i keep finding myself resetting games because i forgot to hold the buttons.

Same, I would like to have that feature added, you should post the idea in the official thread for luma3ds here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/luma3ds-noob-proof-3ds-custom-firmware.411110/

I am trying to use the EUR version of fire emblem fates but I downloaded the swimsuit patch + Same sex patch. I want to install the DLC but I am on a US 3ds so I need to use lumas language emulator thing. Does adding a patch change the title ID, because the dlc isn't showing up at all and I've tried all the title IDs listed on that one website.

1. You need to format 3ds #2, because if you have a nnid on 3ds #2, the nnid on 3ds #1 will not transfer. If 3ds #1 and 2 are both old 3dses or new 3dses, after the transfer, wait 7 days, transfer the nnid back to nnid #1, then 3ds #2 will automatically reformat. After setup, you can put your orignal nnid details back on 3ds #2, and you should be good to go. If 3ds #1 is old 3ds, and 3ds #2 is new 3ds, the only way I can think of is to call Nintendo themselves to transfer it back.
2. Other than the transfer failing, which should not happen if you did it correctly, there should be no problem with the dsiware downgrade.
I have another question, what will happen during that week? I mean, 3ds #2 can play online, download backups, install custom applications/emulators etc?

3ds #2 can do anything they want, but it is best to wait 7 days, transfer 3ds #2 back to 3ds #1, then do things on 3ds #2.

Hi all, I've got a question involving GBA VC.
So after [finally, I'm lazy] dumping all my GBA games and setting them up as CIAs, all that's left to do is inject my saves.
However, when I attempt to inject my Super Mario World save [and probably all the other games too] I'm given the following error:
No usable file found
GBA VC inject: failed!

So, what am I doing wrong? I have my SMW save at the root of my SD card, set as gbasavevc1.bin. I'm running the latest version of Luma, on A9LH 11.0, on o3DS, and yes, SMW was the last GBA game I played.
Thanks in advance.

Did you install them with FBI?

Are you saying that a us game is working on European system? If so, it is normal, as Luma is region free.

Yes, the latest version. I used Asdolo's GBA inject maker.

Hi, I have some questions regarding homebrew.

I have old 3ds XL, runs on 11.0.0EE
recently I installed spiderhax homwbrew on my o3ds. since I installed, my 3ds runs abnormal. for example:
1. every time i go to friend list, and go back to home menu. it stucks on home menu loading screen, and load forever
2. every time I access homebrew menu and go back to home menu, it stuck at loading as well

is this normal?
every time it stucks i have performe hard reset on my 3ds.
any chance to fix it? or i have to do factory reset?

My arm9loaderhax 2DS stopped booting. I checked the memory card and it seems ok.

Should I try to restore a backup sysnand or is there something else I should try first?

THis system was playing games and working fine and it just stopped.

What happens when you boot it up? Does the blue power light stay on or only flash for a moment before turning off? Can you still get to payloads for example Hourglass9 when holding start on boot up?

When I try to boot blue light comes on and stays on, screen stays blank. The payloads still work. I found that it works when I copy the boot files on to a different 2GB SD card. Once it boots I can swap it and it reads the original 8 GB SD card. So somehow it reads this 8 GB card but perhaps not fast enough to boot anymore? The 8 GB card is a micro in an adapter, maybe thats causing the issue?

Just finished installing A9LH, the last part states:

You will no longer be able to boot without the SD card in, that is normal.

I've already made a backup of my SD card, but theoretically, what if I lost my SD card & didn't have a backup?
