There are exploits on 4.x as well (I think above that as well, not too sure), but themes came around on 9.0, which allows for menuhax.

I know there is an MSET exploit on 4.x but i still don't understand what opens the door to CFW exactly on 9.0-2 besides having both exploits available

Yep, there's exploits in every firmware (except maybe 3.x). 1.0-2.2 can use Cubic Ninja and the browser in a limited way, 5.x and 7.x+ can use a sort of browser exploit, and 4.x and 6.x can use the same as well as MSET.

You can have CFW from 4.x up (e.g. Gateway, rxTools, Palantine).

Hey guys. I did already a A9LH on my friends N3ds XL. I have several backups from it. But my storage seems to come to an end. What for backups can I remove from my harddrive? I have:

-sysNAND_original.bin.sha

you only need



-sysNAND_A9LH.bin
-sysNAND_A9LH.bin.sha isntalling a9lh

and

-sysNAND_original.bin

Hey,

When I try to play Pokemon-Rom-Hacks (Based on FireRed, .cia format, created with Ultimate GBA VC Injector)
I always get this error and I can't save because of that.

I'm pretty sure that this even happens with unpatched FireRed .cia's
And since I can't use VBA on the 3DS, I couldn't find a fix for that

For CIA its fast and simple > 'SaveDataFiler'

1. Export your EUR save (00001261)
2. Create a save inside MH4U USA
3. Export your dummy USA save (TitleID-LOW 0000XXXX)
4. Copy the content inside SDCARD:\filer\UserSaveData\<DATE-TIME>\00001261 to your USA folder and overwrite 'system' & 'user1'
5. Import your save for CIA

If it works, EUR to USA is possible
