This emu is already damn good as is, the only complaint i have is the sound emulation problems of FDS games

Other then that its pretty good

Are the games that use the VRC-6 and VRC-7 MMC expansion chips broken? I seem to recall Akumajo Densetsu and Lagrange Point having broken audio.

Great work on the emulator! I play it on Gamecube and on a CRT it looks just like an NES.
But any FDS game I play is annoyingly slow! I've tested this on Super Mario Brothers 2 (J) and the FDS version of Metroid (Nazo no Murasame Jou, too.) I've also tested this on several versions, and I think this has been the case for a while. It only happens when I use NTSC timing, too.

Is there any solution to this that I'm missing? I feel like I'm so close to playing FDS games perfectly...

Thank you shadow one for the palette hex file and DDinghoya for the font file,

so here's the 339 beta, please test and report back
- added the v6 palette (did not remove v5 nor YUV palete), report back and see if the v6 is better to delete v5
- changed font, this is a test to enable korean languaje for the emulator, again test and report back if something is missing

WII Boot

It seems that the game settings aren't saved properly when you exit. Every time I boot it up, Rendering defaults to 'Unfiltered' and Cropping defaults to 'Horizontal' even though I changed them. The button mappings for the classic controller aren't being saved either.

The Accurate Colors V6 looks amazing though!

Yes, sorry

I added these changes on a beta build I was making for settings and controller improvements.

So is the palette v6 better?
Do we replace v5 with it?

I honestly do not see a difference :P

I don't see a difference either lol, but I would just take their word for it and keep it because it looks amazing regardless :)

Some time ago I made a color restoration patch for Mother 1 on GBA, looks like I'll have to update it sometime soon using this new palette.

Can we have an updated build with those changes applied? :P (The Rendering defaults to 'Unfiltered' and Cropping defaults to 'Horizontal')
Also, I think we are safe to replace the V5 with the V6 paltte.
If we can't tell the difference then I think we are golden

From the image in the official site comparing both v5 and v6, I couldn't tell the difference neither, so go for it! xD

Unsaturated-V6 ... Recaptured the cyan swatch using improved methods (better firmware on the capture device). Entire palette is back to being direct-captured. So, there is a more accurate greenish-blue color just like the real NES composite output.

I'm starting to think the only palettes worth keeping are Unsaturated V6 and Wii VC (Remove 3DS, since that palette was only meant for the 3DS screen).
I'm tempted to remove the palette option entirely and just have Unsaturated V6, however, the Wii VC colors are nice to have for the Nintendo "official RGB" alternative.

Don't, Default palette is the only one that works for the correct displaying of Vs. Games. Wii VC is also very nice to have and looks very balanced on LCD/LED. The only one i find redundant is the 3DS one (in comparison to the Wii VC palette). Haven't tested Unsaturated V6 yet since i am traveling right now, though i will test it on a friend's Wii later today.

Correct, the default pallete is the only one that works with Vs. games

As for v6, I understand that it's more accurate, it just that I, on my tv, do not see a difference :P

And i do see your point in that 3ds pallete is kinda not needed in this build.

Here's my take on an update.
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/47184537/Projects/fceugx-3.3.9(Burnt-Lasagna).zip
It's based off of Zopenko's 3.3.8 mod.

It removes "Vivid" and "3DS" palettes. Makes Unsaturated-V6 the "Accurate" palette and renames "Default Colors" to "Vs System".
Also, it removes all sound from the interface (I didn't really care for it). If one wishes to add it back in just remove "-DNO_SOUND" from the makefile.
