Okay. so i'm probably gonna get banned for this. but i'm at my wits end. I have the us version, but i can't get DDD to dump the damn thing, And i want to keep my DLC. Does anybody know if the EUR version uses the same dlc files as the US, and if not, i'm begging here, does anybody have a US dump?

It was already said that the versions are identical, probably regarding the DLC as well.
Setting up ddd is a bit of a pain but as long you know how to use ipconfig on your PC it is really easy to set up in combination with the jar HaxServer.
If it can't connect disabling the firewall temporily sometimes makes it work.
Dumping caps at 1 MB/s or 1 MBit/s I'm not really sure, so if you just want the dlc, just dumping the aoc directory is a lot quicker.

Alright, I've fixed the issue then, I'll upload the fixed version of the pack_999_lua patch file now.

Should this be fixing all these types of scenes? I believe Ellie's first side quest also has this issue.

Have not used the updated file if it has been upped yet.

If I need to update the patch do I need a complete clean dump of the game or are the original files provided after the first patch enough. Can I just run the patch with just the necessary xdelta that have been updated? I have rather limited hard drive space to keep backs up of backups.

Yeah that didn't work. It wouldn't do anything after I clicked on it to start it. Anyway I can at least just get the restored costumes in the EUR or EN version? That's mostly what I'm looking forward to having.

Anybody know if there's another way to just get the original costumes?

yes, you can do that.
The files in the "original" folder are backups of the untouched game files, you just throw the files you like to patch again along with the rest of the game files and on the patcher "xdelta" folder copy only the patches for those files, the missing patches will be skipped (you'll still get warned about it, just ignore it).

You need to launch the game with smash method to make the dlc work (you need smash for that).

I extracted the "pack_030 et.cpk" folder, so I found the images in the format "GTX" and has succeeded in the convert "DDS" only worry how to convert again GTX

Finally had time to boot up the game and I can confirm the patch works with DLC. Might be nice to include it in the first post since it's asked quite a bit.

I know it's posted a few posts above, but to reiterate, here's how to get dlc to work:

- After redeeming the DLC from the eshop, play the retail version to ensure the dlc data installs (idk if you have to do this, but it doesn't hurt)
- When dumping your disc with ddd, use "titledumper.exe \vol <output path>". This will dump everything.
- The dlc folder will be named something like "aoc0005000c101edXXX" (I've seen different versions of the last three numbers). Move the folder to the same place your game files are on your SD card (with the code, content, and meta folders)
- When you launch the game in loadiine, select Smash Bros as launch type and enable DLC

I had a freeze at the end of the CGI cinematic of "Kiria in Wonderland" side quest, I was able to skip it though when it was frozen. Sadly I won't be able to provide a save because I totally overwrited my save in panic of it happening right after. Hopefully someone else can provide it.

At the moment all internet access is available, but is recommended to block Nintendo servers to avoid a future automatic update that could (and most probably will) block homebrew access. Of course that is up to you if you want to block Nintendo servers or not.

UPDATE:

For testing purposes I'm still looking for a save file right before Kiria's second side story, if anyone has a save before the cutscene event of her filming the Commerical in the cat suit, could you please share it so I may test solutions to the subtitles not appearing during that section.

So I found another cutscene event with the same issue and here is the save file for it. Just talk to the NPC to proceed. Here is what the subbed version looks like at 11:10:

Is this the cutscene related to her concert during her first sidestory? If so, the cutscene appeared fine on my end when testing earlier, I'm unsure as to which cutscene this would be otherwise.
