What format do the games have to be to be played on the emulator? the source I know seems to supply them in some format (3 folders: 'code' 'content' 'meta'), in the cemu tutorials online the games they load are in .wud format. I've herd that the format I currently have can be used on cemu by going into the code folder and loading the .rpx file but the emulator simply draws a black screen. On the window of the emulator I see that it finishes saying 'loading...' then shows the fps then etc so I'm guessing the game has loaded but is simply drawing a blanck screen

First of all: Do not pirate games, dump them using your WiiU, the kexploit and ddd!

And you're right! Currently there are three common formats:
1 WUD (Wii U Disc format): The complete ISO of a WiiU-Disc.
2 WUX: A compressed WUD which can be re-converted to a full WUD. (used to save space)
3 Extracted games: Those are every file used by one game on your harddrive.

Cemu is in its early stages. Some games load instantly, some need a long time until they're loaded, some currently need a workaround, some don't work at all.

If you're using WUDs/WUXs you need to put their encryption-keys and the WiiU-common-key into "keys.txt", else Cemu shows an error-message.
If you use extracted games you just need to open the main-RPX in the game's 'code' directory! :)

ok so with cemu you don't need encryption keys if your using extracted games with dot rpx files.

p.s.Sorry about being blunt about piracy its just that there is only one game I really care about (maybe two) on the wiiu and thats Bayonetta 2 and I couldn't buy a console for one game. I played bayonetta 2 by essentially squatting at my friends house and playing it on his system. (If it means anything I'm not gona download a dozen games and avoid buying a wiiu)

Looking on the wiki there are only a few games that are fully playable without issue on cemu, is the current goal to improve performance on existing games?

Bayonetta 2 loads, but is unplayable. Lots of missing graphics and 1-5fps at best.

blast, I've seen some gameplay of it online, famerate was really low but I assumed framerate would be a lot higher is the person wasn't video recording, also I've got a fairly decent pc so I thought its worth a try. Has anyone tried Tokyo Mirage? Its turn based and it doesnt seem very powerful? (Tokyo Mirage is the other game I mentioned that I may care about, I didn't really look into it when it was announced due to it being a wiiu exclusive and wasn't going to get it anyway, but I love persona and fire emblem)

Are you sure? from 1.5.0 and up till latest version it doesn't work, it gives black screen with fps.
Last version that Bayonetta 2 were running was on 1.4.2 and it didn't have any graphical problems and was playable ( 20-30 fps )

Trying to run Super Mario 3D World, it forces close Cemu at the boot. It was the same thing with New Super Mario Bros. U, but after the intro screen. I PM'd it earlier and they said it has no prob and it'd be run well.

I mean, both games have update files in NUSGrabber. Maybe must dl the update files?
Guys. Here is not a fight club. Please end this argument and
ANSWER MEEE!!!! (Problem Above)

how do you get bayonetta 2 to work? on my system I'm getting just a blanck screen, assuming my machine is powerful enough do I need to do anything before to set it up or is it as simple as loading the game? I've only got the extracted game (code, content, meta) version not .wud version

Try pouring bleach into your computer, or if you have a laptop pour it into the exhaust port.

@TotalInsanity4 thnx the games loading now, but theres poor controller support and I'm getting issues with it, I'm not in any rush to play it atm so I think I can wait a while till more stable versions come out, but when it does come out I want to be ready.
