This is not true though, because they've already proven constant support despite the free alternatives to their CFW. They added a solution to Menuhax and now they're doing it for A9LH. Now we'll see what they do about the "arm9loaderhax.bin" issue we're seeing right now.

It's not. Proprietary a9lh implementation, boots launcher directly (so bye decrypt9, other cfws and stuff until you restore).

That's because Gateway bundles an outdated firmware.bin in their launcher (which is a terrible idea btw because as soon as nintendo releases an update incompatible with old firmwares gateway users won't be able to upgrade until there's support)

Outdated - but still working
unreliable - I never had any issues, it booted on the first try every time
slow - 5 clicks and 10 seconds - spending few hours installing something else is not worth it, and using .3ds is faster than installing .cia
playing online - I can do that
GBA and DSi - works in GW mode Sysnand
DRM - Why do I care? I have the card, so it doesn't matter to me
latest system version - I have emunand on the latest version with no issues

I never said they made menuhax though, I said they added menuhax support for their CFW. I don't disagree with you about their plagiarizing, but that doesn't mean they aren't updating "their" software so their users can continue to use the red card even after giving them money.

I'm not disagreeing with you, however I just find it funny that people say so much about a company that has shady practices when most people are using CFW's to pirate games. GW is just as bad as anyone who uses CFW to play pirated games.

exactly. i have nothing against the users, just against the hardware and software of the card and the company itself. I could forgive them if they at least credited the devs who pushed their brains to make masterpieces of software and they just take them away and take all the glory and fame(fortunately, people are waking up by now)

Yes, which means: 1. You never obtain the OTP.bin so you can't back it up. and 2. It installs A9LH which makes your system only boot while their card is in.
